Personally if you slip and fall from standing too close to the edge - thats no reason to install a barrier or railing - why should natural beauty be sacrificed because of the stupidity of others. Everyone who fell just made the human gene pool a little less idiotic.

nothing to pay. just park at the lot and hike to the bend. roundabout 30 minutes of walking.
