You’re going to have a blast! I’m glad you liked the video hopefully you’ll get to do a handful of these! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video
No words can truly capture the beauty of Arizona... Specially Sedona you could say there are these huge red sandstone rocks everywhere jutting up from the desert and making everything else feel tiny by comparison.🌵😍
Hey Kevin, another great hike is to the Wahweap Hoodoos. The trail starts in Big Water. Not much elevation gain and it is a walk up a dry wash. The hoodoos are incredible.
Hey Kevin, love your videos. If you could only pick one of Kanarraville Falls, Candy Cliffs, Cinder Cone/Snow Canyon/Vortex, or Red Reef for a day trip, which is your favorite? Would also be interested in anything else that would be in the conversation with those outside of Zion. Thanks!
Kevin, great video! I had questions about where you kayaked into Antelope Canyon. Were you able to access the area everyone was going with the normal paid tours? In particular, we were planning to go to Lower Antelope on a normal paid tour through the website. If you were able to access the full area of Lower Antelope, did you have to have a guide with you or did you just find your own way? Thanks!
Oh man, I bet it was pretty cool, maybe saw some lightning strikes. I hope it gets full again, we haven’t been since the Spring so I currently don’t know what it looks like
Kevin, check out Whitepocket, in the Vermillion Cliffs NM. Almost to the state line of Utah and AZ. It does take a 4x4 with clearance due to the soft sand.
Thank you for this informative video. My hubby and I will be visiting Page next month, this video really helped with especially knowing that we can rent the kayaks ourselves to get to Antelope Canyon without a guide. Is there a place you recommend to rent the kayaks? Do you by chance recommend any good restaurants in the area? Thanks so much!
Hey Kevin i am doing a trip to Page soon. Thank you for the great options. I have never seen anyone else include the Hopi salt river area. That's incredible. I see you do a lot of tent camping. Do you need permits, reservations ahead of time or is it simply first come first serve in most of these areas? Thanks.
Well recommended Kevin. I was there over the weekend. Horseshoe Bend, Wahpeap Overlook, Lees Ferry and Parian Beach are spot on, without having to pay outrageous entry prices. I would also add the harbor, walk the dam's bridge, and what a spectacular area for astrophotography... Night time temperature are bearable for long outings, no complaints.
Hi Kevin, great video I'm trying to figure it out in very tight schedule how to fill time in Page, I'm traveling in Oct from Phoenix to page directly... My goal is to leave at 8am so can be at south rim at noon or so... Not sure if trying horse shoe bend to see sunset that same day... Is it a bad idea at that time? Monday I have the noon tour to upper antelope already...plan is to leave Page to Sedona that day..but wondering is there a shorter version for kayak so we can do it after the very quick upper tour? Or what do you suggest to do before the upper tour that might take just 2hrs? Greetings from Costa Rica
Hey, I tried looking at your blog for the information about the permits and information on that one Navajo land hike to the really blue water, do you have any more information I didn't see it there. Thank you
It is not! A hundred miles~ish away actually ! Much less crowds, and easier permits. I have a travel guide specifically for this exact hike with everything you need to know
@@athenatong3768 I have not done havasupai so I am not sure, we’ve never been able to get permits. Also I’ve heard there are helicopter options and mule/donkey options, which would make me think supai is easier. The Hopi trail is very remote
Use Annual park pass on the Horse shoe? The lady asked me to pay $10 (which is what the sign says) and said it’s per each visit, said it belongs to the City of Page and not Federal/State. Scam?

This is SUM of my bucket list if I visit again near Glen Canyon. Thanks for share.
So glad myself, Nick, and Donovan blazed trails for you guys back in the 70's/80's. Page High class of '85 here. Moon

Massive thunderstorm last night! I was camped at Lone Rock and for awhile it seemed Lake Powell might get full again (ha!)

Thanks for uploading! Helped me a lot :)
Of course! Thanks for watching

Beautiful places 😍 like this video. Be in touch
Good video
Thanks!
With all of the new snow fall in California and Utah hopefully the water level rise in the Page area.
New sub ! Liked 🙏🔥😆

Is October still a good time to visit Page?

Kevin, I would like the link to the blog so I can check out the permit info for salt canyon

thanks for watching
😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What time of year is the best time to go here?
Page can be visited year round, but it's my favorite in the fall or spring with milder temperatures and less crowds than summer
Do you need permit if you go by kayak?
What month is the best time to visit?
I made the mistake of hiking to Toadstool hoodoos at like 4pm in 106 degree heat with very little water. 😂
Was it worth it? Lol
Live and learn (hopefully!)
Is #7 the same as havasupai waterfall?
It is not! A hundred miles~ish away actually ! Much less crowds, and easier permits. I have a travel guide specifically for this exact hike with everything you need to know
@@KevinEassa which hike is easier?

Buckskin gulch is actually way cooler than antelope
It's on our list!
Can you take paddleboards instead of kayaks?
I’m not quite sure, but I don’t see why not! Probably would be best to call the boat deck or the rental companies to confirm though
Use Annual park pass on the Horse shoe? The lady asked me to pay $10 (which is what the sign says) and said it’s per each visit, said it belongs to the City of Page and not Federal/State. Scam?
Do you have to pay for the antelope canyon tour if you just kayak in like that? Lol
No you do not! But it is a different area of the canyon
Great video!
Thanks!
