I took the charlotte tilbury setting spray to Puerto Rico in the humidity and it was amazing and my makeup stayed fresh even in crazy humidity. It’s worth the price. That coral blush is beautiful on you.
Very helpful reviews on all of these! Appreciate the demos. I'm actually really intrigued by the Covergirl foundation now because both you and Kelly Gooch said your first impressions improved a lot!
Yes, it's one of the few foundations in the Covergirl line that doesn't have fragrance added. I'm actually thinking of trying it myself. My sensitive skin won't let me try much of their complexion products.
@@stacyketnerI believe they just reformulated their OG “Clean” foundation too, and took the fragrance out, but I have not seen it in person so not 100% sure that is accurate.
THanks for reminding me to stick with Nyx and not fall for the ND! Also I was thinking of using the Buttermelt as a blush too, I want a very nudey blush next.
I haven’t tried a ND concealer, even though I was very tempted. I discovered two absolutely favorite drugstore concealers - Revlon colorstay skin awaken concealer and Elf hydrating camo. Revlon has lighter coverage, perfect for everyday light makeup. Very hydrating and won’t crease. Elf is also hydrating, looks perfect under the eyes and has full coverage! I adore them! Love the NYX serum too but the other two replaced the NYX for me :-) I’m 34 y.o. for reference with dry under eyes and first signs of aging. just wanted to share ❤
Oh my goodness your make up is so super flattering today. I love these coral tones on you 🤩 I hear so many people talking about the Natasha Denona concealer, but I tried it, and it totally burned my eyes. My eyes are just so sensitive
So glad that you decided to review Cool Neutrals! It’s totally my kind of palette but I’m hesitant since the Sigma formula has been inconsistent for me. I’m glad the shimmers are better, I’ll definitely get this during the next sale!
Hey Sara, really great reviews and I loved the demos!! For the Altar Ego/ND dupe palettes, I own the original Natasha Denona palettes because I’m a huge fan of her formulas!! The cream shadows are actually my favorite because they look so seamless, especially for mature eyelids. I also like that they’re very buildable because sometimes shadows can be too pigmented right off the bat. Just food for thought! :)
This was such an amazing video with such helpful, detailed info! I have really wanted to try the NYX bronzer and the sound of using it as a blush is very appealing 😅 I am with you on the ND concealer. I tried to convince myself that I really like it, but I don’t think I do. It’s too heavy for my thin, dry, aging under eyes. I need to try the NYX concealer again but I am pretty sure I enjoyed it more and I also prefer the Tower 28 concealer over the ND. I do like the ND corrector better than the concealer.
Yes to the Nyx bronzer!!! I picked up the second shade hoping it could be the perfect blush for me and it is! I was looking for just 1 product for if I want something but dont want to mess with a bunch of products. I love it! Smells like vanilla and is so smooth.
Yes the bigger size of the Huda powder is a regular cap! The puff on the mini powder made me pick the bigger one instead and that powder is the only one that works beautifully on my dry skin😍
Hi Sarah! If the revolution bronzing drops are too pigmented alone for you, you could try mixing in a dot of your foundation/concealer with the drops to bring down the colour saturation and then apply that as a bronzer - and it has the benefit of harmonizing the colour for a more natural extension of your base makeup. Hope that works out for you!
@@AnetteL.Nielsen Thank you! I also do the same thing with pigmented liquid blushes (especially in tube packaging) when I want just a subtle wash of colour.
@@masc4mascara39 Nice 😊 I only own 1 liquid blush, cause I make my own with liquid lipstick mixed with foundation ☺ Been doing it for about a year and a half, so it has helped me use up 4 liquid lipsticks 😁
The best way to wear the nyx lipstick is to dot the liquid lip in the middle and blend it out with a brush or finger RIGHT AWAY before it sets and then top the gloss. It wont be opaque but it’ll be a lot more comfortable to wear
I completely agree with the ELF blush and that specific color I have the same shade of ELF bronzer and actually really love it! I am just a tad bit “darker” than you. I rest of the colors look way too dark for me.
The Natasha Denona crean to powder mattes are a very unique formula. So far, no one has actually been able to replicate it in a way that it behaves and wears the same way. Her eye shadow palettes are the only high-end ones that I will throw down for because her formulas are unique to her.
It's so interesting you didn't enjoy the NYX Shine Loud Lip Color - it's one of the few that stays on my lips. Ironically, one of the other products that stays on my lips is the Urban Decay Lip Bond. There must be some similarity between the two products!
Just going to say, because we have very similar skin tones: 2 in the UD foundation is VERY fair. I feel like I can make it work, but it’s not great either. So I just ordered 5, funnily enough. We’ll see if they mix together well. But I’m not quite sold on the foundation yet, to be honest. I hope it will grow on me.
I hate the huds beauty mini I got the pink shade and can't stand the packaging! They sell empty setting powders component on temu,I am going to get one for the huda powder and transfer it in there.
I wanted to not like the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I love it so much and nothing compares so far. Why WHY did I have to love such an expensive product?! 😩 I have super dry skin and it stops my makeup from looking crusty. It’s become a holy grail for me.
@@SarahRoseBeauty yeah, I understand. I feel like when it’s a wrong shade, I would need to force myself to use it, and it won’t bring that much joy. And eventually the product has a high risk to just be decluttered. I know you are very good about using the products till the end.
i was so disappointed by the nyx liquid lipsticks. i had the blue and the green so maybe they weren't the fairest pick but they were so sheer that you had to apply a lot of it which ended up being so painful. i have liquid lipsticks that are so much better, definitely not worth it.

I find the NYX Butter Melt Bronzer works really well as an eyeshadow too.
I tried that the other day and it was so pretty!!
I have never seen your base more beautiful, the foundation does magic for you (at least on camera)!
Would've loved this in 2-3 installments of 20-30min videos! Tier lists are my favorite videos atm, but this was a LOT of info at once 🫠
Haha I agree! I’ll have to do them more frequently

Yes, it takes some time to get used to it because it’s such a weird formula, but it’s actually really nice!

I think that the NYX Bare With Me concealer is the best on the market, high end or drugstore. And I’ve tried many!
I think it is excellent too!

I will have to try that!!
