Love that you are delving into the music from the 60’s to the 80’s; SO much of the music that came after, across the genres, is rooted in that 30 years. Hell, much of 70’s Led Zeppelin is rooted in 1930’s and 1940’s blues ❤
What I found crazy was what happened when I seen Ozzy live in 2009 (finally crossed seeing him live off my bucket list btw). He is called the Prince of Darkness; but in between each song he would say "thank you" and "God bless you" in response to the audiences' aplause.

Randy Rhoads got a writing credit on every track on this LP and his much brighter and complex neo-classical guitar was a big departure Sabbath's sonic sludge. In fact when this song was released in 1980 I recall a wave of "OK, who really plays the guitar?" cuz people were in disbelief that some guy no one had heard of had basically re-written the rulebook for rock guitar. But it makes sense because Randy started on classical guitar at a young age and took piano lessons from his mom (who owned a music school Randy eventually taught guitar at while in HS) to build music his theory chops. And some ways the little fills that Randy throws in are more amazing than the solos. RIP.

My father purchased records as soon as released. In the 70's & early 80's Black Sabbath & Ozzy was always present along with sooo many more great bands.😊
If you can find it, there’s a video of a young kid who covered this on guitar. Ozzy seen it and invited him on stage. The kid killed it on the stage with a legend!
One of things about Black Sabbath, they loved horror movies and wanted to bring "horror music" to their music but a lot of their lyrics have meaning / messages.
That's Randy Rhoads...was also co-founder of the band Quiet Riot before joining Ozzy. He was on Ozzy's first two solo albums Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Flyin High Again Over the Mountain Suicide Solution I Don't Know No Bone Movies
Seen Ozzy and Metallica live in the 80s. It was a great concert. I was right up front right by the stage thought I was gonna pass out but I didn’t. It was so hot.
Ozzy's lyrics are always very insightful. The image and name of Black Sabbath was just a good way to shock. Ozzy is a really nice guy who comes across as dim but he's not. Listen to the lyrics of War Pigs from Black Sabbath - it's not about doing evil it's about the evil that men do. In his solo work, his lyrics were the same way. It's so nice in the video that they show Randy Rhoades going up to heaven since he tragically died at 25 in 1982.
Love me some Ozzy!!! Yes this is Ozzy solo! He’s so misunderstood. The Sabbath was darker but his solo work is stellar. Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath because of his drug use. He is a great songwriter. His best bud was Randy Rhoads on guitar. Unfortunately, Randy was killed in a plane accident. They were in Florida at a repair shop and a few of the people on the tour bus want to catch a plane to Miami, (I think) to avoid time for bus repairs. There was a small airport very close by and they talked a local pilot to fly the small plane without airports permission. First trip successful, with an and upon take off the pilot dipped a wing toward the bus. Randy was the last trip along with one other. This time when they dipped the wing, the wing hit the bus. Ozzy and Sharon were on the bus, sleeping. The plane exploded. All on board were incinerated instantly. Randy was 25. Nothing to even bury. Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack have a live show on UA-cam a couple times a week. Ozzy is funny as hell and extremely intelligent now that he’s clean for several years. Once in a while, Randy’s name comes up. You can see his expression change, his head lowers and he’s very somber and emotional. Ozzy’s solo work is incredible. He still writes and records but cannot tour, as he is coping with Parkinson’s, which runs in his family. He is to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year as a solo artist. He’s really sad though because he’s embarrassed to appear with the uncontrollable Parkinson’s tremors. The bat thing was that someone threw a bat onstage, he thought it was fake and bit the head off. It was real and he had to have a series of rabies shots. My favorite Ozzy song and video is Dreamer, he wrote just after 9/11. Released a month later. Beautiful song, great video. Arrangement by Zakk Wylde. I hope you react to it. You will be so surprised.
Ozzy is amazing! Many people viewed metal music as mindless and just noise without every listening to the lyrics and the messages being conveyed. They simply looked at the band and judged them quickly, which is common but you miss out on a lot in doing so. Ozzy was heavy into drugs, looked like Satan and so many just assumed he was into hedonistic stuff, not serious and just twisted. In some ways he was very twisted but the man wrote songs that had deep meaning with a metal bend. Many metal acts did - Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and others wrote some incredible music with very deep meaning that so many kids growing up with it needed to hear who were going through their own shit and found this music to relate to them. This is Ozzy solo. We are all on this CRAZY TRAIN and it is a long ride. Randy Rhoads on guitar is just incredible. RIP Randy!
In my small town in Minnesota , every year the pep band learns and plays this song at football and basketball games! It’s been happening for about 25 years! The song is such a classic and gets everyone pumped up at half time! And it introduces the younger generations to this music which I think is awesome!
Now this is what I grew up with! This is still one of my favorites! Randy Rhodes joined Ozzy and helped put Ozzys solo career into over drive! OZZY was my first concert I ever saw and Metallica was the opening band . Yes I'm old! Lol
There were distinct genres of 'soft rock", 'hard rock", "heavy metal" (ozzy) , "hair bands" , "punk rock', "death metal", "classic rock", and "Southern Rock'. These were all during the 80s/90s brought in "Grunge Rock". Each had it's own fans and hair/makeup/fashion styles for them all. If you said you liked "rock" , there was a whole conversation that followed as you named off bands and bonded or decided you did not like somebody based on who they listened to and loved or hated. :)

My father purchased records as soon as released. In the 70's & early 80's Black Sabbath & Ozzy was always present along with sooo many more great bands.😊
Great reaction, love our Ozzy, born in my home town, loved it thank you 🙏🐊❤️🦉👍
Ozzy reputation is not who he his is . He’s a big history buff i luvs the guy from Europe
It's always amazing how you can understand Ozzy when he sings lyrics, but whenever he just talks, it's hard to understand anything he says.
I always find this hilarious! Crystal clear when singing but you need subtitles when he talks!
Ozzy is a beautiful soul and his lyrics are so before their time.
That's Randy Rhoads...was also co-founder of the band Quiet Riot before joining Ozzy. He was on Ozzy's first two solo albums Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman.
Flyin High Again
Over the Mountain
Suicide Solution
I Don't Know
No Bone Movies
Randy Rhodes. - absolute LEGEND- soooo well loved.
Seen Ozzy and Metallica live in the 80s. It was a great concert. I was right up front right by the stage thought I was gonna pass out but I didn’t. It was so hot.
PLAYED AT NFL GAMES ALL THE TIME !!
the Image of Randy Rhodes taking off from the stage to the Heavens was awesome!! RIP Randy!!
Sabbath and Ozzy exist in the light and dark dichotomy. They use dark imagery and sounds to convey often uplifting themes.
You'd like "Dreamer", more recent than this, but great messaging.
Such a freaking banger 😂Dreamer and Mr. Crowley. Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏
Changes is a completely different side of Ozzy that you should check out
My all-time favorite opening riff in a song.
On the MTV show, The Osbornes, this was sung as the opening by Pat Boone! First time I understood all the words too!
Definitely me favourite Ozzy song by far its that riff an the lyrics for me
After forever will set you straight, master of reality album. It will leave you speechless.
Modern day anthem ‼️
That album is crazy train shit ❤
I really enjoy your reactions. With your knowledge of hip hop etc it’s great to hear how many artists have sampled the old stuff.
Also, even though Ozzy potrayed himself as "The Prince of Darkness". If you listen to his lyrics, it's usually really wholesome and good messages.
Yes, its missing the 2nd verse. Need to hear it in it's entirety. Crazy Train! Brings me back to my high school days!
Check out ozzy. Paranoid amazing message
Now this is what I grew up with! This is still one of my favorites! Randy Rhodes joined Ozzy and helped put Ozzys solo career into over drive! OZZY was my first concert I ever saw and Metallica was the opening band . Yes I'm old! Lol
LOVE Ozzy, can't talk but damn can he sing!! This is blasting with the windows down!!!
Played at most Sports Games. Love his music.
Love this Song love it's message and the way Ozzie delivers it.
Such an amazing song. RIP Randy
Ozzy Ozborn and Lita Ford
"If I close my Eyes forever,"
is killer!
34 year old FUQ boy here. I've been listening to a band called Hollywood Undead since 2007ish. Their first single, Undead, uses crazy train just sped up. I never realized that until earlier this year when another reactor pointed it out on his first listen lol.
Ozzy a history buff , he’s making a living he one of the great in heavy metal
By far my favorite Ozzy song with my favorite guitarist. Used to go to sleep on the submarine with this playing on the walkman every night and is my alarm in the morning now. The live video of this is 🔥
One of my favorite guitar solos of all time. RIP.
Randy, Jimi, and Angus are the reason I picked up the guitar as a kid.
There was a VHS that came out about 30 years ago called "Don't Blame Me", all about Ozzy, it was basically a biography of him up to the year it came out. Clips of the kids & Sharon, and even Randy's Mom was interviewed. It was really great.
the entire album Blizzard of Ozz was freaking awesome :-) one of the best rock albums ever.
Ozzie is a sweetheart❤ I pray he and his family come to the light before he moves on! 😊😊
