      I know it doesn't have much to do with this place,but I wanted to leave it here just in case anyone is interested in reading a piece of my life story. This saved my life,and might save yours too. I was an atheist in the past, but thanks to a person who spoke about God to me, a guy who studied theology and metaphysics, using different words from the ones everyone used to fight me for being an atheist, I came to believe and realize the true presence of God in my life. there are scientific explanations for what God does,at a more “quantum” level of science,involving changes in the magnetic field,vibrations,with operation sometimes similar to a particle accelerator,where human mind is not able to fully manipulate. This person was talking about science, and when I said that God didn't exist, the person told me that God doesn't need to exist, because it was God who created the concept of existence. God is infinitely beyond the laws of the universe and we are not able to understand the Presence of God, but God is who He is, although we mere beings in the universe cannot understand this. I may not understand, but I feel the presence of God. I am infinitely grateful to the person who explained this to me, because her studies and her explanation is what saved my life. Maybe I can't explain rationally what leads me to believe, but there are many coincidences, day after day, synchronicities, things that I ask for in prayer and that come true, moments when I've found myself without strength or peace and suddenly strength and serenity return instantly, cases of sick relatives where doctors said there was no way out and in the end things work out and the cure appears at once... we are only human beings, we are a creation within the Universe, just like all the other existing things. We have limits. Sometimes I think we are a little ignorant in wanting to understand the full complexity of this reality we live in, and wanting to determine whether God exists or not. I believe there are certain things in this Universe that we just don't have the ability to understand or explain. Just as an ant does not understand the world of human beings, human beings cannot understand a spiritual world and the Universe as a whole. God provides human beings with the ability that no other being in nature has to think rationally and develop science and medicine. Blind faith is never true faith. We do what we can with our human power, and the Creator does things at more advanced levels, at a more “quantum” level of science, involving vibrations, with operation sometimes similar to a particle accelerator, where human science is not able to fully manipulate...there are scientific explanations for miracles,as I said,involving changes in the magnetic field and the like, but we mere mortals do not have such power to fully understand. I want you to know that genuine love I knew,because I love you :)

    I once heard a thunderclap that lasted like 2 seconds.. it was also late at night and I closed my eyes. As the rain became louder and louder the only thing I heard was the heavy rain which lasted a few seconds, then a flash came so bright I could almost see my room with my eyes closed and at the same second the ultimate thunderclap struck nearby which literally shook my organs for 2 seconds straight as if it couldn't disconnect from the area of impact. It was the loudest and probably the best thunderclap I ever witnessed, unfortunately no recording ☹️

      Yea, i have experienced 3 lightning strikes that only made a thunder clap 2 seconds long, 2 were not really loud but one other it was so bright that my phone that was set up at the window recording made it look like daytime for only a split second, and that produced a thunder clap so loud that it shook the ground and set off 2 car alarms.

    • @weeardguy
      @weeardguy 11 місяців тому +4

      Oh yeah...know that feeling. Woke up to a positively charged storm that released a positive discharge every 8 minutes or so: dead silent (except for the rain) in between, which made it a very scary storm. Recorded a few relatively distant strikes and than went up to my sisters' room to wake her up (she likes thunderstorms too) and found she was still asleep. As I opened up the curtains and told her about the storm, I saw a shadow of the windowframes being cast on the wall. It was slightly moving as light wind was blowing the ionised path away. Just thought like 'oh shit... that's close...' and than the bomb went off. It was a positive strike within 150 meter or so. The floors vibrated badly, and the whole experience was just like someone lifted the house and had let it fall down back to the ground again.
      Can still remember how I really looked at my sister in a way like 'I think we just got hit...' just deadly afraid by the tremendous sound that had been unleashed. As the sound started to decay, every car alarm in the vincinity could be heard. Power had gone out (just the GFCI had tripped, nothing major) and my dad, who hates cursing, could be heard cursing from downstairs, asking if we got hit, with my mom also screaming in fear.
      Till this day I feel like an idiot for not keeping the camera running while walking up the stairs to my sisters' room and opening the curtains. I was recording before and after, but missed 'the big one'...

I LOVE Lightning but I live in a place where it doesn't really happen too often so it's kind of hard to enjoy it some times but It most likely happens in the summer time for us.

    My thunderclap happened not too long ago, like, January of this year, i came back home from school, there was already a big storm happening, it was during the afternoon, but when it reached nighttime, the storm intensified, bright flashes of light, but, one stood out, i was playing on my tablet, and bam, it happened, the bigget, closest, brightest one i've experienced, i swear i jumped, my heart was beating fast for several minutes after, and, i gave that "i almost died" laugh, scary as frick, still shivers me in me timbers till this day, i don't think i checked the weather forecast that day, which i usually do most of the time, so, i was going in, completely blind... The next morning, completely clear skies, i was walking to my stop with my older brother, and i smelled smoke, that's how close it was...
