Great video. I’ve been in the black since 07 December of 2018 exploring in my Beluga and have decided to go back home after more than 4-years. I’m going to have a crazy pay out and I’m looking forward to using this build on my ‘Conda.
I added your weapons loadout to my anaconda and went to lhs 28 in a high res site to test it and i have to say its much better and more effective than my previous setup. I ve got two taipans one with fixed beam and one with xeno multicannon and i actually had the nerve to take up against a pirate anaconda by myself which i never did before and i totally destroyed it while still having 75% shield. Anyway i wanted you to know it works very well and thank you for your video advice.
Nice idea, try all gimbal rapid pulse. Also swap out two shield boosters with RA - super conduit - thermo block 👍 I'd go dirty drag drives for thrusters.
@@nightshadechaos8104 Not yet, but I'm thinking about it. The problem comes down to two types of pvp: Organic and planned. Organic pvp is the major problem. You need to be able to out run your target when they run from you and the Anaconda is not good at that. Planned is a different story but it's hard to find people to do planned pvp with right now.
this is exactly what i was looking for! im in the process of building an anaconda, im wanting it to be a general purpose type of build, so some things would be a bit different. and ive been wanting to see how a scramble spectrum build does for quite some time. thank you for making this video. could you post a coriolis link to your build in the description please?
I cant wait to try this I've been using beam on the small hardpoints with regen to help my friends and then for for the two med I went with a missile rack then for the large multi cannon the a huge beam and it would get the job done but I would have to head back after like 7 or 8 ships because I would run out of ammo so I'm hoping with this build I will be able to stay out longer and just destroy ships I cant wait to try this out
I think if instead of rapid fire on the two medium mounts you used long range you might be able to get more uptime on targets and use them as "chase guns" for when the ai inevitably boost away and reset like at 9:18. Long range not only extends the range of the lasers but their damage falloff as well. Might also be fun to play around with the two small mounts on the underside and use them as scramble spectrum bots because they don't do much damage on their own so they may as well provide some utility. That still leaves you with your two large mounts on top, your third large on the bottom, and your huge with phase disruption which is where the majority of the build's damage comes from. Honestly don't know, just thinking out loud.
i assume its the weird bluish-green outlining on the ships is what you are talking about? That's because he has night vision turned on. You can turn it on on your right panel of your ship, helps to outline and see things clearly when bounty hunting and especially mining.

This is more of a show off build than a build guide. Any ship with that much engineering can rip bots to shreds.

Getting an anaconda today! Finally. I'll definitely be using this as a guide to get started and figuring out what I like!
That's awesome man! Congratz. The anaconda is literally one of the best ships imo. Especially for combat. It has unrivaled hardpoint convergence.

I know its been a while since this video has gone up, but I do have a question: Could this work using a Cutter or Type-10 as well?

Amazing build! I am trying to replicate now, how do your lasers recharge so dam fast! Is it the 8a power d? I have 8c at the minute
Yeah, you want and 8A but more importantly, you need "charge enhanced" on the engineering.
how do you mod weapons like that? I'm p new to combat in elite and i just want to be able to defend myself after i blew 140mil on this thing
