Maybe it's the eventuality of the learned painting process that becomes common, but I identify with your decision process, thanks so much... Ray Vila...
thanks again for a very enjoyable tutorial.
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Fabulous,
Thank you!!
Though it is small, but it looks Like a piece of fine biscuit.
Nice work Gebahi. I like it.
Thank you !!
I admire your work very much. After many years of watercolor I've now started in oils and love it.
Your teaching method is very easy, I can learn a lot from you. Your work reminds me of the "Florida Highwaymen". A group of self taught painters that produced thousands of artworks mostly of Florida landscapes. I've seen an exhibit up here in Tallahassee where I now live.. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you for the compliments Barbra!! Highwaymen didn’t have some influence on my work as well as another artist by the name of Roger Bansemer!
great painting as always. thanks for sharing your masterful techniques

Jackie Garroutte thank you !!!
Awesome!
Thank you very much Joyce!!!
I just love how you tell us what you're doing and why you're doing it. You're very good at helping to understand the process and the reasons for what is done.
Thank you very much!!!
I followed the instructions and a beautiful painting came out (not as nice as yours LOL, but looks ok) you are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much!!
Thank you very much for the compliment!!!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Finley Ahmir instablaster ;)
really like this one, i'm starting to question why to spend so much time going for photo-realistic, when you can achieve work like this in a short time.
Exactly, it’s best to let the viewers imagination run wild!!
Thank you Helen !!
That is so awesome! So, is the technique for both Acrylic and oil painting basically same? The brush strokes, applying paints. I am thinking if you were to use acrylics thick, not like watercolors. I like to paint Impasto, in oil on canvas of course.
Well, it’s a bit different with oils because there are rules to respect, such as thick over thin, and have to be more careful about planning! Acrylics doesn’t have any such rules, you can paint as thick or as thin with nearly no waiting time. You can paint using bristles brushes with acrylics and have the same effect as oils. I’ve done so in the past and enjoyed it.
Me encanta su pintura.
Gracias Maria!!!
I’m guessing you did the background trees trunks with a small liner and off white color? Awesome work
ChiChiChi HaHaHa correct!
Very nice job, thanks for sharing it. May I ask if you use any reference?
Thank you Jordi, I do a lot of the time, but don’t always stick to the reference photo! I add and subtract a few things.
I live in the Northwest....have you any tutorials on evergreen pine and forested mountains?
I’ve never don’t tutorials on those subjects, although i have painted these scenes before, but I’ll ok keep that in mind to switch this up a little!
@@GebahiArtworks
Thank you...i haven't found the perfect green and the right colors to indicate receding
mountains have been a challenge. i will try some of the green - dark greens - you use. Thanks again, you are awesome.
Lolita Kaloustian Young you’re welcome!! I mix all my greens, this the combos I use:: cerulean blue and cad yellow medium, and/or ultramarine blue and cad yellow medium. For bright greens, use pthalo blue and cad yellow light!
@@GebahiArtworks What an amazing and immediate resource...thank you. I will use your combos with appreciation. Love your videos and have refereed my friends to your site.
Lolita Kaloustian Young thank you very much Lolita!!!!
Hi there, enjoyed your video very much, just wondering, I have some offcuts of laminated flooring, could these be painted on? And what primer would be best to create a printable surface?
Hi Terri, not sure I would do that given how flexible that substrate is! But if you do want to try it, then I suggest using Kilz2 sealer/primer from the big box stores , give it about 2 coats.
You can use Masonite, birch wood, Luann boards, and even MDF!
@@GebahiArtworks thanks, I have loads of MDF offcuts so I'll try them.
J'aimerais savoir, est ce que tu utilises un gel spécial pour acrylic ou seulement de l eau ? Merci pour ta réponse isabelle
Seulement de l’eau Isabelle !!
Kanvas very litle... make big kanvas...
Dhea Jamila maybe one day !!
@@GebahiArtworks thank you... 😍😍😍
Seriously? Your family can be respectful enough to give you a half hour to broadcast in quiet?
That’s a good lesson to teach kids.
Lol !!! Little one likes to talk!
@@GebahiArtworks Don´t worry Gebahi if it doesn´t bother you, its your family they come first, as if they were talking during the whole video, tell these people to f__k off, you can´t right?, but I can.
André Sarubbi Lol!!
I think if your change the name of channel to something that's searchable for a beginner looking on how to paint...learn to..
You give great tips throughout all your videos I've watched them all...
It's the content of the painting itself that may not be attractive to the UA-cam world...
The subject matter...if that makes sense...
All of your waves...ocean pieces is what I came here ...when I found that you talk about why and what your doing in the process...I had to listen to more..
I hope this feedback is ok...don't take it wrong way...great works...just the subject of Florida trees and such aren't appealing...
Best if luck to you....you deserve more viewers...its a matter of getting or having the title.of channel when doing a search and or knowing what the content is if through the name of title.
Really wanted to watch but the music was just too much. Nice beginning though! I made it 9 min!
Sorry about the music!!
Love the tutorial, love the painting, but subjecting someone to a continuous loop of the same 15 seconds of annoying music for 40 minutes is like the Chinese water torture. I'm sure I missed out on some very useful info, but after 10 minutes I had to watch the remainder of the video with the sound off.
Sorry for the inconvenience, my newer videos don’t have any background music!
Maybe get rid of the background tune. It’s very repetitive and quickly became distracting and interfered with what I was learning from your tutorial.
Thank you Susan, my more recent videos have no music, but in the future I might put more soothing music in the background for time lapse videos!
Thank you for watching!!
Could you please not play that song please! It’s annoying.
