First time even researching permanent lighting on our house vs the standard C9 Christmas lights. Not only did you sell us on the type of lighting we want to do - but you sold us on the exact product to purchase. Your video is very informational. Covers all the things and questions we had - but is also to the point without extra content. Couldn’t ask for a better informational video.
I was a bit sticker shocked at first, but after considering this is a done and done installation that stays up year around, I guess its not that bad after all. Its never fun putting up lights just to take them down again.. Gonna save this to my amazon cart and hopefully catch a steeper sale over Black Friday. Thank you for the coverage!
Looks great. I bought some "permanent outdoor lights" a few years ago when they first came out, and the brightness was just so awful and dim that I ended up returning them. It looks like tech is finally getting good with these lights and I'll likely pick up a set of these to give them a go. Thank you!
Thanks for the informative video! I decided to purchase these after watching but I had one big question before I order. For my house I will need to 1. Run a decent length of extension in the middle of the line and 2. Cut the last string short by some lights at that first big transition and then at the very end of my run. So I would have partial length strands in the middle of the run and at the end. Will the individual programming still work if I do?? My wife only agreed to let me out these up if I can turn off all the peak lights and leave just the gutter lights on most of the year. Thanks for any help you can provide! I’m just not sure how the control box know how many lights and which lights are which if I have custom lengths throughout the whole run.
Thank you so much for your video! I would like to know what I should do if I want to put up more than 120 lights. I have bought 100 more feet, but this new section does not work. I bought the signal amplifiers, but I have no idea how to make them all work at the same time.
2 other things I found. There is a specific booster that only works with the pro module : amzn.to/3ZBjlg4 2nd, the page saids the module needs to be connected between the 6th and 7th string so it works correctly. Hope you get it figured out!
I would gladly pay what they're asking if they offered an option for black wiring/hardware like Govee does. My eaves are all black, and most modern homes are not using white where I live anymore. They look a little too tacky with white wiring on a dark eaves trough for the price. Haven't seen a black option yet.
@@MixEDMHours-y5d the lights are brighter. The colors are good. Light control is equivalent. The app is not as intuitive. Longevity is the only real concern being new
I can’t figure these out.. purchased from Amazon 100 ft. The last strand I connect won’t work.. I tried to switch the order and no matter what the last group of light won’t work. Came with 6 groups of lights. Not sure what I am doing wrong..
Did you get it figured out? Mine didnt have this issue so im not entirely sure what could be causing it. Maybe try modifying the app settings? I know there was a setting in there for the number of lights.
The 100ft sections are on sale and the cheapest. Even buying the signal amplifier for long runs. The 200ft has more extensions, the amplifier and a t so if you have multiple stories it may be better. I bought 4 of the 100fts though. All in for less than $1000
@@TheIngrams-h8t I bought all 4 also to do my detached shop. Got the first batch on the house. Will be finishing the rest this week and seeing how they pair. There is a group function, but not sure yet. So far these work great. Individual light control, color, on/off, brightness, etc. The presets are all pretty boring outside a few so you will have to make your own. The white options and brightness alone makes them worth while. Brighter than govee. If you want more control/customization you can try a wled controller
@@TheIngrams-h8t to add more context, I will be doing a 200ft run on one controller and then a 100ft on the house. The other 100ft will be 2 sides of my shop. The other 2 face trees
Ordered after seeing your video , and disappointed 😞yours looked so bright , but mine is not even half of it .irrespective of all the settings I tried. and I made 2 orders both the lights looked different as well. Not sure if they have different quality products of same . Not sure if you’re paid for the video. If so they would have sent you a better quality one
I would reach out to them and see if there is an issue or maybe a setting that can be adjusted. I got mine shipped directly from amazon and they are the brightest outdoor lights I've used so far. As shown in the video, on max settings it is is more than enough to really light up my entire driveway. Did you install them 2-4 inches or more from the wall? I've seen people have brightness issues because they installed them too close to the wall and there wasn't enough room for the light to properly disperse

Did you ever get some? If you did how’d it go?
Cool stuff. Besides decor, This basically replaces the need to install security lights
Great vid man was looking at some at sams probably gonna get a few now thx 😅
Just ordered the 50ft set to try it out on my Gazebo. Thank you!

Unfortunately I just have one set so I cant answer that question. I would advise sending an email to the company and hopefully they'll chime in
I just did a quick google and one user said you need to "refresh the segment" in the app and that will make them come on.

They have black on Amazon
looks good just bought mine . Was getting it connected to the app pretty easy?
Yep.. just search and it automatically finds it and syncs
Interested but with black Friday around the corner, I think I ll hold off for now.
Do you have a link for the manual for the 1060 set ( 90lmn)?
Pretty cool but not sure adhesive will still work when temperatures change a lot
What's the space between the lights? Trying to order some along with the asahom lights but they don't list the distance between lights on the website
Can it sync to an actual mp3 file or does it only rely on mics?
Do you have any discount codes for this one? Tempted, but not tempted enough, lol
How is using the app? A lot of these are cheap, but come with trash apps that barely work
Is it better than govee
I havent tried the govee brand so I honestly cant say. No complaints or issues with this one though
Any idea how this compares to Eufy or Govee? This one is cheaper but not sure if better

Longevity is the only real concern being new
It would be cool if someone made something like this, but instead as a few scone lights
Where can i buy these? Is there a direct link?
I believe their only sold on amazon
Its: amzn.to/3X3yV1j

Make sure you select all in the app. The select deselect in the app is backwards, but easy enough to figure it out
great video thank u, but u said they were affordable for a 100 ft set is $489.99, that's crazy
Thank you. I'm not sure where you are seeing $489 though.. on the amazon link I have in the description their currently $240

@thisvsthat6930 can you control all of the 4 100ft sections with one app? I have a detached shop. Love to have them in the same pattern as the house.

Make sure you got the pro. The regular are half as bright
Pretty sure you could of just left the lights up and installed the right connector instead
I wouldnt trust a no name nonsense brand like asahom . Good luck when issues happen
LEDs. Worst case is you swap in wled controller. It's a standard IC 3 wire led strip.
