Really like the node version of QR. Would love to see a geometry node implementation for Blender. Assume sidefx developed the node version with Exoside? Great comparison to ZRemesher, since it was created by the Exoside developers.
So you could basically remesh it in Houdini, lose some detail and bring it back into ZBrush to get some of them back? I know that’s bascallly what you do with zremesh and projecting too, but the remeshing in Houdini seems to smooth it out a bit better.
Yea, the idea is for those working in apps that doesn’t have a decent quad remesh feature and probably don’t have access to Zbrush -they can leverage of this as a base for retopo. Meanwhile we spoke about the even smoothing in the video.
I love to know how you are navigating in z brush and houdini (is that possible in blender?)
I think he is using a 3D mouse for that
Yes and you can do the same in blender
A video comparison without showing the wireframe in zbrush to check how is doing the loops is quite pointless to be honest

I see it mostly as a good way to deal with high density scan data!
i like to see this retopo also in marvelous designer or clo3d
It exists already.
do you mean it exists retopo with slider in marvelous designer same as houdini in this new version🤔
@sevenseven31 it doesn’t have sliders like in Houdini as much as I can remember.
This slider makes a huge difference; it speeds up your workflow
Amaizing !!
I love you
you can't use that in Blender if you are doing anything commercial...
You can or can't?
Technically you can't, but how are they going to find out? 🗿
Blender has its own remesher its perfect for games I been using it for almost a year.
