    My speakers disappear, and it sounds like the music is coming from behind the wall (in a good way). Since it's a shared wall with my neighbor, I have to keep reminding myself that it isn't truly that loud to them. I bought an SPL meter to verify lol. It's magic, and I find that people don't really believe it's possible, until they hear it themselves.

    Heard the FR 30 speakers Audio fest in Toronto this past weekend. I was really surprised how the music extended wide , way beyond the speakers.

    Hard for me to remember when speakers disappeared in my room. But there is no going back now.
    My speakers are 4 feet out from the wall. The sound mostly comes from behind the wall. That is a mind spin when you first hear it. Not only did the speakers disappear, but so did the fireplace. DIY.... must have done something right by accident.

    I know people don't care for the Bose brand, but they are really good at this. There are no speakers, there is just sound.

    I guess it depends much on the loudspeaker since no matter how I've put my Elac FS507 I've never been able to hear any sound from the speakers, hear where they stand.
    Yes, I forgot, I guess it depends much on the music/recordings also.

    dear Paul, about disappearing speakers; on the FR30's in the back you don't sea the side woofers. Looks like you put white disc's on the woofers to make them disappear. Are the woofers flat cone ? And did you paint them white? They look amazing, and are pieces of art instead of bulky boxes. Especially glossy white is beautiful. greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Jurjen

      I find a LOT on the internet. And maybe I could eventually find everything that Paul does in one book. But it would take a LOT of searching and dealing with misinformation and downloading stuff that may or may not work as well. For my time and money, having it all in one place, including music that perfectly supports his theories, is well worth it.

    • @jasonkillsformomy
      @jasonkillsformomy Рік тому

      @@jonl1034 Your assumption that Paul's theories are correct is naive. He's a salesman without any education what so ever. If you want to read books about speakers and acoustics then there's many better ones. For example by Floyd Toole.

      @richardsmith2721 Рік тому +1

      @Douglas Blake I guess what I'm asking is if the ideal is to have the sounstage behind the speakers? I always preferred to have it a bit more forward. I guess I've been to too many rock shows and not enough concert halls.
