My main emote is the exotic "None Shall Pass" then I used "Salute" to finish off the video.
I am not a "content creator". The original video was an impromptu recording. That voice you may have heard isn't mine. It was bleed-through from another UA-cam tab open. I was not aware that it got recorded into this. I have since fixed the audio and trimmed the video down to reasonable amount of time, as well. That is also why some of the guardians listed above aren't shown in this version. They were in the original 13 minutes of coverage version, though.

heard the news and left my raid to head to the tower and was greeted by many other guardians surrounding the Commander. I must have been there for 25 minutes with my fellow Guardians. This community is truly one of the best in gaming. “What we have built is only the beginning, a symbol of what we can achieve.”

It warms my heart to see the community paying respects to Lance Reddick (VA of Zavala), which is a good thing because I thought I was dead inside, but it's always good to be proven wrong. This shows that we can all care for one another even if by just a little bit.

I want them to bring back Fabian's Stratergy and make it ridiculous as a true salute to Lance's/Zavala's memory. Thats the only thing i want for this season

First we lost Cayde, a loss which we never entirely recovered from. Now we have lost not just Zavala, but the man behind him as well. Lance Reddick was a wonderful man and he breathed life into what over the years became my favorite character in the entire game.

They need to code Lance's actual character into the tower somewhere that way not only is zavala always there but Lance himself is

Been playing destiny a very long time. I’ve seen different voice actors for Cayde and Ikora but never Zavala. He was truly the definition of guardian and a symbol of leadership in the story and maybe even in real life for some people. Lance Reddick will be forever remembered as our commander. Rest peacefully.

I get wanting to keep him in the game but I think it would be much better to give him a worthy death as well. He was scared hidden behind a bunker in the Lightfall campaign it would be cool to see him go fight with us like Caitil in Final Shape and he ends up dying like a legend. That said I think it would be pretty poetic that we just lost the og fireteam in Lightfall and now Bungie has an opportunity to finish the 10 years of story telling by having Zavala die a hero too and then potentially Ikora dies seeking revenge or something too and we can honor the full vanguard and the 10 amazing years they gave us
Nah, I don't think he should die. I think he should be retired. That way it'd be the best of both worlds. You don't recast him, but u also don't kill off Zavala. Kinda like what they did with Brian in Fast & Furious after Paul Walker died. They just had his character retire and go raise his family.
@@what7530 It kinda goes against his character to retire… he can’t stand still while the witness and black fleet are at our doorstep . also he doesn’t have a family or wife to retire with so he really should die a heroic death . I think it’d be the best
I really don't know how Bungie should handle it. He's had tremendous Character growth from Forsaken to now (although almost all of it isn't in the game anymore).
And I honestly doubt Bungie had Lance record any more lines past next season. I could be wrong as Technically the Studio has already been working on 'The Final Shape' but I wouldn't hold out hope for more lines.
Considering everything that happened story wise in Season of the Haunted it would be kind of poetic to see Zavala make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure a path to victory and protect "The Guardian."

It was just a fast and unfiltered video uploaded then I went off and did the new raid. When I came back I realized how awful it was. I didn't even have headsets on and didn't know it was recording other junk. This is not my full time job and it shows. hahaha. Luckily, YT does have tools to allow editing an existing video.

It is THE discussion right now and of course none of the players actuall yknow anything. I would guess that compannies in the entertainment business have some ways to account for things that happen to the actors in case of contractual disputes or the death of the talent. We'll see I suppose.
