I started my first fursuit head in April and everything I have done, I have learned from your videos! From learning to hand sew to furring the head you have been such an inspiration and the next docket on my list was to line the neck, which you made this video for right as I needed it!! I just wanted to share that with you and let you know that I appreciate all the work you put into your videos, suits and taking the time to teach others.
This video actually taught me a lot, including how people line heads! I will use a few of these techniques on a suit I'm currently working on and will share how it went once I've finished it!
@@freckledcatcreations appreciate it a lot. I'm not trying to be a hater but a lot of furries, crafters, or artists put such grating music in their videos. The music you add makes me happy and adds a very pleasant vibe to the videos, and this is one of the reasons I prefer watching your tutorials over most others
AHHHH I ALREADY MADE MY FURSUIT NECK BEFORE THIS VIDEO XC silly me. atleast i can try this when i make my snail dog fursuit head! another great VIDEOOOOO YOU HAVEEE
I'm currently in the process of making my fursuit head. You've made so many helpful tutorials, I can't wait to put into practice what I've learnt from your vids. Thanks for sharing with us!
Ohh this gave some nice insight thank you. Ive been working with a balaclava to create a moving jaw type suit head. I was wondering whether i should go with what i see with 3d masks and not add foam to the back of the head or if i should make a buckethead, glue it to the and nd trim it so that the jaw elastic is visible for me to add the jaw at the end of building the actual head...
at 0:45 I mention it uses the same pattern as the fur neck! Yeah that part's covered in the tape patterns video! ua-cam.com/video/Yk7fKzlE0b4/v-deo.html
I have some from a while ago, but the links to the vods expire after 2 weeks, I've uploaded the archives to youtube for patreon supporters! there's maybe 3-4 videos
I've been making fursuit heads for a few years now and I always get a few wrinkles in the lining (I use lycra) and I am always so scared it will effect the quality of the suit or that it bothers the buyer. 😭😭 You don't feel it, but you can see them.. Like is it a fursuit flaw or just something the fabric does.?
I use lycra too and I absolutely have wrinkles in there too! I agree they can't be felt, don't affect the wearability of the suit. It's not necessary to have no wrinkles. Don't sweat it. Doesn't mean it's bad quality. Thinner stretchy fabrics will just do that.
I’m starting my own Fursuit because you, flint steel Fursuits, and mugiwara are literally SO TALENTED!!! TYSM FOR ALL OF UR TUTORIALS!! :]

Honestly I dunno, I've never tried a moving jaw head because I heard how hard they were!
what materal do you use for lining?
did you use a ladder stitch at the very end to connect the fur to the liner?
I did! I hope I did put that in the captions, I thought I did!
@@freckledcatcreationsIts alright! I assumed so by the way you stitched it in the video ^^
just checked the video out and I did put it in there haha!
how did you make the pattern? is that in another video?

Saw your lycra and thought it was werewolf themed which got me excited because my lycra is (vaguely) vampire themed but instead it was raccoons lol
