      @@freckledcatcreationsHello! I have currently no idea if you’ll see my comment, but worth a try! I’m a young furry, and I cannot afford a trimmer to shave the fur! Is there any tool you or any other furries would recommend or can I just do it with scissors?

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  2 місяці тому +1

      @@FireblazeDrawz ooh, it is VERY hard to trim the fur with scissors and it not look bad. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, and I still suck at it! Theres those like $30 enjoypet clippers on Amazon that everyone recommends, or the $30 Wahl clippers as well. I really think you should just save up your money to get those, because they're cheap and good, and if you can't afford those, I don't know how you'd afford fur or foam , since those are way more expensive!

    Right now a lot of people I want to commission for a partial either don't take commissions from minors or won't take commissions for some time so I'm thinking about making my own mini partial. The head is really the only part I'm stumped on so this is a big help!!

    • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  4 роки тому +19

      You are SO welcome!!! And yeah, it's not that they hate minors, it's just that a ton of minors go behind their parents back, and then the parents tell the maker to give the money back, even when the maker has already started work. There are still some makers who will work with minors though, like me! I've seen most people just ask for a copy of the parents ID , and have an email from the parent saying the commission is accepted or something.

Working with fleece for a head (which is what most people use for fnaf suits) is a little different than working with fur, but a lot of the other stuff you can use in this video! • @freckledcatcreations
      @freckledcatcreations  4 роки тому +1

      @@crimsonartzzz990 Ooh, that sounds like a job for needle felting! So when a marking is too too tiny or thin and it'll just be hard to sew it in effectively, you could needle felt it! Basically, you need 'felting needles' (different than normal needles, important), and some acrylic yarn in the color of your marking. cut some yarn, brush it out so it's untwisted, then use the needle to poke it into the backing of the fur. When it's stuck in there, you can add hot glue to the strands poking out on the back to reinforce, and then shave the yarn down to match the rest of the face.
      I'll do a tutorial on this the next time I have to do this technique on a suit, but in the meantime search around for Matrices' tutorial, I do it basically like she does!
