Your videos are gonna save me. I've been on and off making for probably a decade now but there's always room for improvement. Your tutorials show off some of the tinier things you have to be careful of while making a head that you usually have to figure out on your own as you go.
This is still by far the most stressful part of making fursuits for me. I would rather sew everything also and finish every other part before having to glue down and detail the head fur. I don’t know why lol
Can I just that among all of your other incredibly helpful and skilled tips, the head lamp is such genius. It is SO hard to get a strong enough light source pointed right down into those tiny seams sometimes.
These videos you've made this past month are VERY helpful! I've been wanting to start making a fursuit for YEARS but never got around to it because I just didn't know how or where to start, and your videos have just given me the confidence I needed to finally start! I'm also curious if you'd ever make a handpaws/ arm sleeves tutorial or if you'd already done so in the past, and I think a hair styles tutorial like you mentioned in this video would be awesome! I'd seen you pop up in my recommends before, with your refurbishing a suit head video from 4 years ago, and you popped up in my recommends again today, and I'm so grateful for that! You've definitely gained another subscriber from me, and I look forward to seeing your videos in the future! 💜💜
Thank you for the kind words and im so glad you find these tutorials helpful! I do indeed have all those type of tutorials you mentioned in the works! Im excited to get them posted soon enough for you to use!
I got curious about how ppl made fursuits... now I want 2 try out and made one myself! Hopefully one day I follow your tutorials and make a fursuit head, and that my parents get it, which, probably will ok for them.
Wow, im not a Furry and am never going to make a Fur suit, but i am do it yourself kind of person and watching you show and explain your techniques is awesome. You are so talented at this! Pretty amazing actually! My mom and my grandmother were both seamstresses so i am familiar with some of what you are doing here, especially the patterning. One question: the eyes are not interchangeable? The eyes in that head you just did are permanent?
Please please PLEASE wear a respirator or other PPE when shaving fur! The little shaved bits can travel into your lungs and cause a chronic condition known as Groomer's Lung (since it usually afflicts pet groomers). It's also vital to keep any pets out of your workspace as it can affect them too 🐾
