George you have missed a trick. Recently installed a DAB pioneer stereo in a 20 year old tractor here and pioneer speakers and the DAB aerial sticks inside a window but the clarity is simply amazing as is the choice of different radio stations. Well worth the extra effort 👍
Excellent for the youngsters these days George but, I remember my old man fitting his first 8 track player in his Consul when I was a kid! Nice one mate.
Hey George... Where I work they have a School big grass field and each few months they cut it with a small sit on cutter machine bit like a big Go-Kart. But I had a nice surprise just before the new September Term started, They cut the grass with a big New Holland Tractor for the 1st time with a big grass cutting fold up back unit. The Tractor was the 1st one I've ever seen up close as it drove off of the field after cutting done! Since we live in a big town away from the farming areas. I only saw a quick view of the model number and it looked like a 6 series one. The back wheels were huge I say about at least 6 feet high with wheel weights and a medium counter weight on the front. The grass cutter looked like a maybe a yellow and red bi-fold cutter which was about 13 or 14 feet wide when opened. Such a lovely looking tractor. That made my day.
Hi George Nice one nearly every time i change a radio one connecter isn't the same That old Fastrac video i think was one of the first videos i watch on youtube Thanks Again
That brings back some memory's of installing radios, i remember fitting one to my scooby, it was so expensive back then, cant believe how cheap they are now.
At the age of 49 now i remember doing this carry on for many many years until modern cars started building there sound systems in to the dash , saved me a lot of money from that moment on.
George, new meaning for man cave🤣 Remove JVC from yer JCB, install Bluetooth SONY , sit in your JCB listening to another Mann's exhaust. Bet Liz went back to the house shaking her head 🤣👍✌️🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸
Takes me back does this video George. Back in the 90s I had a Vauxhall cavalier fitted a jvc unit with 12 disc auto changer, still had a cassette player in it as CDs where just getting going, the boot was fitted out with 2 massive amps subs, 6x9s inthe parcel shelf, all the door speakers upgraded. It was the thing to do back then, needless to say my hearing suffered.
Remember the days well ratching about behind the dash fitting a sound system. Red to red black to black blue to bits. Few sparks a few blowen fuses oh the happy memories of the 90s.. Top of the line tape decks back then...👍
I remember the cd changers back in the day. I also remember the mini discs aswell. Also if you want to improve the sound more. I'd definitely highly recommend a sheet of dynamat around the door area. Just to keep the sound in and no vibrations.
just wanted to add, I believe the phono outs are for connecting an amp to which you then connect your other speakers, you run a power wire from the battery to the amp to power the amp and in turn the sub and extra speakers etc, that's how i done it anyway. then you have more sound/EQ control with the amp and it doesn't put load on the cd unit to power the speakers as you can blow a fuse, i could be total wrong but this is what i was taught.
this brings back memories of getting my first car 10 years ago, went right to Halfords and spent 800 quid on "vibe" speakers, had 4 6x9s on the parcel shelf and a 6" in each door card(4 doors) 12" sub in the boot and ran through a 1200watt amp with a Sony double din that the screen flipped out(all the cool kids had them back in the day). still to this day I've never heard another Corsa c sound so good haha we used to pull a fence post out at the skate park so we could park beside the ramp and have tunes while we fucked about. being 17 was fun haha.
No point listening to rubbish sounds. It's like a squeaky seat OK for a short spell but once you hear it it won't go away. 🤣 😆. How many times are you going to answer the phone and it picks up in the tractor when your outside 🤔😜🙄😳😆🤣. Good video sir. Stay safe 🏴
Decent sound systems was a must before we started to use Peltor headsets with all built in also shortrange comradio! But you can't have more than 80dB for longer periods to save your ears according to OHSA-standards. ;...( Says "You have exceeded your daily high volume dose" when you come to Stairway to Heaven in your playlist! *sobbing*
Yes yes yes all very good George but will you still be able to pick up 208 MW Radio Luxembourg in the middle of the night when you're putting in a long shift through the night !
I remember that video very well George - I always return to it or the “gear jamming” one if I am feeling a bit down. Normally feel better after watching it. Good old JWB days! Do you ever hear from the old boy?
Wow I use to love sound systems back in the 90s they called them ICE the system cost me about £2k was all kenwood with 2 subs 400 w I think ho boy I got complaints I even had some bloke threatening to kick fk out of me is about 22 so didn't care I also had a 10 disk auto changer thought was bees knees Next project George is to get your fast track remapped one of them make it pop lol 😆😂😄
get the dab aerial on her, then the worlds your oyster for stations, done it in the works van,via a separate aux input tuner unit,as its not mine, with a additional outside aerial, way better music to listen to, i am to old for radio one but not old enough for radio two yet
I was expecting you to fit it with them red gloves on 😂
You whipped that old radio out far too quickly, round here thats a sign of a misspent youth!👍
George you have missed a trick.
