Hello George every word you said is bob on I would rather it take me abit longer and get there safe we lost a family friend in 1995 when he went through a disused railway bridge when his trailer come off the hitch nobody know what happened only him that Cummins engine purrs like a kitten and the trailer look beautiful and looks to handle very well Iam gonna say claas baler look forward to the next video keep up the good work 👍👍

Its straw not much weight for fasttrac,plus its a small load, a Massey 165 would pull that load

Nice to see her leading 👍. Not really done any with my old girl this year 😩. Gotta admit, I still like leaf springs on trailers, never really liked the idea of a bag going down and the rest following closely behind lol might just be me though 🤷♂

Don't mind a bit of carting meself. Up until 3 years ago i baled around 5000 5ft bales for one customer and on a good season they wouldn't get any gathered until they'd finished combining! All loaded with a ford 5000 and farmhand loader until they got two JCB. 14 at a time which is over 350 loads! 😂😂😂
There’s a guy who is happy with life 👍 a tidy set up and I do think it looks really well. Harvest is coming, I hope Liz is looking forward to it

I wonder George, If maybe it be better t have the bales sat under a roof bigger than the stack edges up on tall strong legs with a concrete based so the rain is kept off them that way they would last better with no rain and snow being able to land on them when in storage!
The air would still get to them and picking the bales out for use would be fine. Just seems and better system to protect all those bales yu all put so much work in t making!
Nice one sir.... think I would be turning that trailer into a land leveler though in some of our fields though.... 😂 .. but it's a grand sight to see for sure.. fastrac is doing a grand job as well... don't know if its ever been asked is she a 65k or 85k ? Not up in the new numbers yet 😅.. you'll get a rack on the front as well for a extra two especially with the fastrac clearance.. stay safe 🏴

I think also the more axles you got on a trailer the smoother the ride you get.........if one wheel goes in a pothole the other two will carry the weight on that side. you got a good trailer there........wouldn't be much good here on my farm though .......our lanes and gateways aren't wide enough

Seems to be plenty of power now George hauling the straw. I see a bit of play on the anti roll bar bushings when you had the camera looking at the front axle

Seems to be a very long draw bar, is there enough room to build a step in front of headboard to accomodate another couple of bales?
Hi George best wishes the rig is looking great one quick question about the fastrac is it Cummins or Perkins engine what horsepower does it put out and depending which engine it has does it just power at max revs or has it engine boost if the engine is up at stage 3or 4 and finally what does it put speed wise on good roads cheers Declan 👍👍
Hi Declan, it has the 5.9 Cummins in it, rated at 170hp in this application, there is no boost. Top speed is 65kmh/40mph

Machale bail is 4 feet 4 on the fixed chamber compared to thr belt bailer. We had the same issue we thought we would get 16 on the bottom but no only 14.

If you stacked the bottom row of bails standing up you would get a two rows on top of bails

Yes go for the 6.7 , make sure it's been looked after, you thinking P-tronic or Eaton?

Rather than building raves fixed to the trailer why not have them “L” shaped so that the weight of the bales holds it up? That way it can be positioned to suit the bale size

Did you run them in series and then conected them to junction box or directly to back lights
@@gasperduhanic1297 split the seven core in 3 places down the trailer and put in junction boxes. If you wire in series and have a problem with the first light you lose them all 👍

No I drive for the local council and we have to do defect checks as well plus a driving assessment on it as well
