Been there Done that with Fox Company 6-85; my journey began with Platoon 2038, Company G, 2nd Training Battalion, MCRD SD on 2 June 1981; I am Old Corps: earned the Title Marine be for Officer of Marines; an EGA (Eagle, Globe, Anchor) to a big EGO (Eagle Globe Officer); Semper Fi from this Ancient Marines Mustang on the journey with the Marines; remember; you did not Chuse the Marines: you were Chosen by the United States Marines Officers Corps;
The Army used to do something like this called “BOLC II”. It was basically the same content, and all officers regardless of branch had to attend. It was honestly pretty miserable. Then we got to go on to BOLC III, which was our branch specific school, and was actually much more fun. Decent sleep schedule, nice gyms, lots and lots of classroom focus instead of just grueling infantry work.
USMC has the same, TBS was your BOLC II, though it is 8 months for the Marines. BOLC III is what the USMC calls MOS School. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
We hope you have a happy 4th of July. Although this video might seem different from our usual content, it's crucial to understand the significance of today's celebration and the individuals who protect the freedoms we enjoy, including our hobby of reenacting. With many of our current and former members having served, this is a reality we're well aware of. We hope this video provides insight into the training experiences of our service members and veterans.
@cm-pr2ys No, I ABSOLUTELY DO!...With a singar, extra batteries, and the Lt's shit including my own in my ruck, deserts, mountains, the swamps at JRTC...Nice try Leg/P.O.G!
