well, we Danes think about a lot of things; For instance we think about why the foreigners (read: Swedes) all say that our beer is cheap, when it is actually really expensive!

As a Dane.... Danes suck.... Denmark is nice... but the people here are quite damaged socially.
Great country, i know that some swedes might hate on their people and country. But i think that our viking rivalry was in the past. And thats we should work together more to achieve stuff that can help the enviromnet and people. Btw i have a swedish teacher in my country Sweden and she has been their unlike me and she actually liked the language. I think danish sounds ok, but how danish is spelt ks more easy too understand. I have never been to Danmark or met a dane but i support you danes, in regards from southwestern Swede. 🇸🇪🤝🇩🇰

Actually, it is the Swedish overly politically correct environment that is the worst - they dare not discuss the most important issues and now they have the radical mess that is Swedish politics. You reap what you sow.
New age hippies are Sweden ! we could not even relay on Sweden to join us to England! the only true brothers are Norway ! Swedish ppl just dont understand that bluntness is the only true king to get shit done around here =) and its not even considered rude to be blunt ! Thats just how danish ppl talk !
We talk wierd and have strange food??? This from a Swede is crazy.
The surströmming of the north is pretty weird, sure! But swedish food is very varied, and has been like that since at least the mid 1700s (Cajsa Wargs kokbok). However, when I talk to danes, they almost seems proud of stating they have just a few dishes, like smörrebröd, fläskestek, pölse, wienerbröd, and not so much more :)
No many people like Danes the first time they meet them.
Danes usually come around as being very rude because sarcasm and irony are national treasures in Denmark. A Dane will usually vent his or her opinion straight to your face and most people don't appreciate that.
It's also very difficult to befriend Danes. A friend to a Dane is either a friend for life or not a friend as such.
Danes are not exactly know for their tact or being sensitive to the feelings of others hahahaha.
Its not rude to be blunt ! only in this new age its rude to say anything ! you can thank the new age hippies for this ! We as Danes appreciates true ppl in our lifes !
Most ppl that comes from other parts of the world will never understand that value in life to call a " Spade for en Spade" ! Danish values are in decline atm with
this woke and pronounce culture ! i will say within the next 20 to 30 years tops Danes will never be the same ! Its not hard to befriend a Dane you just have to be
true to your self ! we value friends that can carry them self ! Being oversensive will ruin this world ! You will have a friend for life if you put abit efford into it =)
Its not normal for us to just befriend who ever we meet on the streets =) we are friendly but we always look for tell tell signs about the person we meet ! Would
you rather go unknowing that somebody dont like you or would you rather know it? that bluntness might "hurt" the first times but will help you grow as a person !
Also danish humor is dark and you have to deal with it since thats just the way it is =)
I can see my Denmark is being ruined by this new gen day by day! Danish values are going down the drain =P

@@thomasmorsing9052 Someone from 🇫🇮 here wondering about the hassle: the Danish people I have met are really the nicest people you can find. I think Finns quite naturally get the attitude and the dark humor.
I get the feeling foreigners aren’t welcome there.
I am Dutch, this must be why Danes blend in so well into our society. I have worked with a few and never realised they were not Dutch (they speak accentless Dutch too you see).
I love Denmark and the Danes. You really feel we are brother countries when we run into each other far away from Scandinavia.

Swedish people saying Denmark is a worse version of Sweden is the funniest thing ever, they seem to forget they had 391 shootings in 2022 while the Danish had 1.
As a Dane, I don't look down upon the Swedish, however, I have a deep feeling of rivalry towards them even though their country is very beautiful and has mountains un like Denmark.

And you invented hot dk! Way better than MySpace, FB & others. Im not Danish nor lived there but I used to hang out & had great times on that site like decades ago. All the girls & guys there were cool & friendly & we could chat for hours in English - even with people whose pics rated 9-10 :). What happened to it? Is it still on?

@@aarhusnord It was before Instagram. I guess it was inspired by Hot or Not mixed with MySpace/Friendster & Yahoo chatrooms. A site where you could make your profile, upload your pics & let people rate them. People could comment, DM & videochat & if you like meet up (so it was a kind of predecessor to Tinder). It was intended for Danes & people who lived in DK, you could only chose cities in DK for your profile I chose Aarhus :). I thought most Danes were using it because it was always full by tons of online users from teenage to old people, straight & gay, but only male & female no millions of pronouns (it was truly a different time). Everyone was cool & fun & friendly & proper & respectful. No snobs no perverts.
Beer was very cheap in Sweden too, for hundreds of years, until the state decided we couldn't have that.

Danes are not rude. They are just direct and honest instead of politically correct. Swedes are more naive than danes. Thats why they struggle with immigration in Sweden today. Unfortunately the gangs in Sweden are committing crimes in Denmark as well. Sweden needs to get that under control. Other than that, I like Sweden very much.
We Dutch get the exact same criticism because we have the same directness. Quite a few neighbours of ours can't stand it. Immigration is not a problem, it is gaslighting. A non problem made big in order to make big problems evaporate.
Islam is a big problem in all of Europa.

@@Gert-DK Eh...well not my experience. When asked most thought we are way too direct and they think it is rude. Out of order is one thing, but quite a few over here will have no problems asking if you went to the hairdresser and if yes they will tell you what they think. If they do not like itm, it is: your old hairdo was nicer. If they like it: looks better than last time. I am not saying this is good or great at all. The point is that they seem to be eager to give you their opinion.

I think generally Swedish people say alot of nice things about Denmark. And I wish danish people would do the same. But i think we dont. I love Sweden, and swedish people too. I think people hate other countries is because of tourists. But we should seperate the two, I hate the swedish tourist I recieve because im working. In a bar or restaurant. Doesnt mean you hate swedish people, you hate drunken Tourists. And i think the same goes everywhere.
But i must say, swedishpeople speak english better than we do in Denmark.
And I dont think you can say all danish people are because of their chosen politicians. We have alot, and I mean ALOT of older generations here, so much so its becoming a problem. And that generation is very conservative, and at times becoming borderline racist and hateful. Because they dont follow progression

Danes don't like anyone but themselves. The girl was right. They are incredibly rude. I know this because I lived here all my life. + Sweden is better than Denmark on every parameter from healthcare to education. It''s statistically proven
