They know just about as much about the rest of the world as the citizens of North Korea.

Brit here! On a one-to-one level, Americans are generally very friendly and likeable. What gets up people's noses is the tendency of Americans to be arrogant and dismissive of other cultures. We should remember that a huge number of Americans are direct descendants of English, Dutch, Scandinavian, Irish, Scots and western Europeans. It is a melting pot of white Europeans. Despite racial tensions, America is a bastion of racial tolerance and owes so much to its black members. They gave the world Jazz and that cannot be underestimated.

Big difference where you live, when talking about cost of housing and renting. Average income in Sweden is around 36k a month and everything above that would be enough for most people. But as always, the life-style you choose will be the most important factor.

Many of what was said about USA is true, but we are limited by disinformation from our own leaders on so many levels. We are genuinely naive and are taught to believe the narrative, if we think for ourselves and oppose public opinion, we are branded as outcasts. I suppose that's how America started its history, trying to become independent from the Motherland & Fatherland countries of the world, and be its own identity. When our people remember to fight for what this country once stood for; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then maybe we can stop being our own enemies.

As a Dane all I can say is that I absolutely adore Sweden, and I love working with Swedes and Norwegians. I’d 100% be up for uniting our three countries.
