nice trick, is the wiring loom hard to replace my wires in the connector car side are broken will do this short fix for now but might replace loom if easy enough
Well you have to wrestle a bit but it's not that hard no. But why bother...the wear indicator sits on 1 brake pad and on a lot of cars only on one side of the vehicle. The light won't burn if the outside brake pad is worn. Just check them regularly, much better/a lot safer.
Why is it coming on My 2011 Audi A4 started to give this warning lights!! Do i need to worry immediately so is it okay to drive for 100-200km more before fixing it since I'm currently in a difficulty spot!
Check your brake fluid level and the wiring. You can check that on the ground when you turn the wheels completely to the left or right, depending on which side you want to check. If you don't find anything out of the ordinary, scan the ABS module for fault codes.
No, not at all. There are cars who don't have sensors on the pads so, not a problem at all. But off course, make sure your brakes are in good condition.
Did you twist the correct wires together? Always check you manual, the sign could maybe stay lit for another reason. And if possible, scan for fault codes.
did this before on a bmw worked great

Thank you
You're welcome sir.
What impact gun do you use to open the bars?
What bars? The one laying on the ground you mean? Milwaukee M12 Fuel 1/2 inch.
Will this work on a golf mk6 front pads?
Sure, just disconnect and twist/solder the wear indication wires together. Put some isolating tape or a shrink tube on them and you're good to go.
Nice video
Thanks! A lot more is coming🔥

Did you check all the sides?
😊😊😊
Stay Dirty! 🔧🧰 👍🏼
I did that and about 5k miles later the wires turned black and now the light won’t go off
You need to solder them and check out the rear brakes/scan for fault codes.
