Buy a new one I'm afraid. It was probably worn down anyways.

Crankshaft pulley. What exactly have you done now because it's not very clear? Did you loosen the pulley with the belt still on or...? I don't understand your problem exactly I guess.

Hey Not really but, you could download or buy the Saab workshop manual. I bought an older Mercedes one once for Windows Vista. Works great in a virtual box. But, if available, I would just buy the real workshop manual, the paper version. Certainly if you're gonna keep the car. Haynes makes good ones.

There is no EGT Bank 1 Sensor 2 on your car. There's 1,3, and 4. In order being, pre turbo, pre dpf, and post dpf. Did you read it right? Is it a different number EGT sensor? Or O2 sensor?

@@demonautomotive2726 One hour and nineteen minutes into the video is when the camshafts at TDC are shown.

You can put the secondary timing belt on with the locking pins inserted, it's the main timing belt that is in conflict because it's threaded on the intake camshaft sprocket only. I have to say I don't know what the point of inserting drill bits is if you can still move the camshafts.

Did you check all the sides?

Check the height on the adjustable knobs on the side + you can adjust the lock height as well. Did you bump into something? Also, first check for dirt or stuff that could get in between. I would go check arround first with a good flash light and some compressed air to make sure everything is clean and operational.

@@demonautomotive2726 i have tried the changing the knobs, both ways no difference i have also sprayed wd40 too loosen up the springs, however no change.

Restoring the connection to ground is the fix. You don't need a power probe, just a wire or a test light that's connected to a known good ground if you want to do the exact same test that I'm doing here in the video.

Bearing is worn out probably. But I would check it out to be sure, it could also be rubbing against something.

You'll need to get it checked in a shop unless you have a beam check tool. The pattern is different so you can never really adjust them perfectly. You could try moving them all the way to the right and see what that gives you. Mark them on a wall perhaps so you can see the difference if you don't have an adjustment tool.

Very interesting remarks/points. Thank you for those. I will get into all of that soon on my own vehicle. You can adjust the trigger but the phone camera didn't pick it up quite well. That's why I paused it to let you guys see what it's capable of.

Haha nice, thanks for that! Well that's a good idea. I try to bring them back to a decent/normal state so it's not to much of a labour cost for my customers. A quick hand rub with mother's mag polish and after that 5-10 min with the Milwaukee heavy cut and 12v polisher will just do that. At that point you can decide to keep polishing and get better results but the difference will be minimal + next year you'll have to do it again because the layer of lacquer is gone and the plastic gets toasted by the elements. Sandblasted actually from the dirt on the road.
