Thanks for video, I appreciate the effort videos like this take to produce. Just ordered a set myself - I was weighing up between the G016 and the Maxxis Razr AT811. Look forward to hearing/watching how the G016 went on the Prado.
Thanks for the great work you do with these videos. I have a set of these Yokohama X-AT on my Pajero in 265/70/17. Awesome tyres, and fits in standard spare wheel position on the rear door - fairly close tolerance but it goes in there.
You should! tell them I sent you, really helpful team and fast at getting it all done as well, usually you can just wait on site in the waiting room till the job is done!
Awesome vid mate, well put together. Love the tread pattern. Looks like they might do the job for ya. Looking forward to seeing what they can do. Cheers mate :)
they are great on all surfaces! to be clear though NO all terrain (of any brand) will be as good as a road tyre on the road in the wet, HOWEVER these are better by a mile than the previous tyres I had on the truck (Good Year Wrangler) tyres are a case of what you are comparing them to in a big way! what I will say is that having driven in a lot of mates cars with all terrain tyres on them I prefer these by far and away overall both on and off road, they are very good on road in the wet, almost as good as any road tyre in the same price range and when considering all of the other uses you can get from them and how smooth and quiet they are on the road they are incredible
Hi Tomas, with anything worth its salt (in my mind) expensive is better for certain things and Tyres is definitely one of them (though they are very reasonably priced for the quality you get), so far they have tested amazingly and are so damn quiet on the road its unreal. Big tests upcoming with them offroad and more reviews to come. Thanks for watching!
G'day mate, thanks for the review. Any news on how they are on the bitumen in the rain at 100kph? Considering these next & highway speed in the rain is a big consideration for me.
@@Nico-vt4il heya Nico. I had them cranking along in pouring rain outside Adelaide a couple of weeks back at 120kph plus and they were no dramas at all. Of course it is a given that they won't grip the same at that speed like a road tyre will but considering they are made as a multi use all terrain tyre they perform really well. I have seen people complaining in general about all all terrain tyres in the rain but they need to understand all terrain is never going to be as good as a road tyre in situations like that but they are bloody good. Pop in and see Ben and the team at City Rubber Tyres and More down in Salisbury and tell them you saw the tyres on the channel here and that you would like to know a bit more about them. Ben is a top bloke and will give you the gods honest truth on what they can handle and what they are good for and if they are the tyre for you
they are R17 , sorry I am not that up to date on every little thing the numbers mean on the tyres, I thought the G016 meant 16 inch similar to what the R17 means in that they are 17 inches
@@4WheelsOnTheRoad Ah ok I get what you mean. G0 is the prefix for all Yokohama Geolandar offroad tyres, like "Geo" :) the number is just the model like G003 G005 G015 G016 etc :)

How they going mate? Mine are still going strong
Will keep this place in mind when it’s time for a set of tires :)

Thanks 👍
lol at 2:50 I was clenching my teeth thinking his fingers would get popped by the bead
Nervous moments there hey!
Are they good on wet pavement? As good as a highway tire?

@@4WheelsOnTheRoad thank you. I'll be buying some. The 3 ply sidewall is what sold me. Sooooo many AT tires are using 2 ply sidewall these days.
How have these been going mate? Time for a long term review I reckon 🤙
Brilliant. Its coming
Nice video mate. Just wondering what tyre size and speed rating of the tyres on the Prado? Cheers
sorry I didn't reply till now, the note reminder didn't show up they are. lt265/70 r17, 121/118q, 10pr
intresting video .they look expensive

Less than a KO2 in any size I’ve checked.

'Lets get them on the truck'
Looks like they were put on an SUV .
In America it's an SUV, I'm Queensland we call it a truck, rig, fourby and a dozen other names. Thanks for watching
they look noisy, glad to hear they are not!
they are soo good
