Regarding Tip #1 (which i absolutely agree with!!), i think it's harder especially for girls to accept compliments, for two reasons: - because we are raised to be "perfect" and quiet, and not love ourselves, so accepting compliments is often seen as being an agressive bitch (wth???). Of course it is completely absurd but it does makes it so that it takes up more will and strength to accept compliments; - because so many "compliments" come from people who sexualise our appearance (without our consent) and that might make us want to just erase ourselves to be left alone. So i guess it's healthy to remind ourselves that harassment is not complimentary and must be called out, and that accepting (actual) compliments does not make us entitled jerks. Normalise self-love!

As a young lady, I have have had so many accounts of lack of confidence, comparing myself and not loving who I am.... these videos have definitely opened my mind more and has allowed me to love myself. I really love my body now but I didn't always like it but now I really really love my body now as I am a owl glass shape as I used to be 13 stone in wait now I am ad least 10 or 10.6 in wait now so I love my body all I have to do is get new clothes in my wardrobe because some of my clothes don't fight me anymore so out with the old in with the new for me thank you Melanie and friend I love the video clip of you both thank you both again yours sincerely bex xxxx
