That store is epic! I'll have to make it over there soon!
That store just blew my mind.
I can't tell you how happy I was that someone took a moment to take a closer look at the sega cd section
Great Episode
damn john you travel a lot! This is great! I love getting to see gaming stores,conventions ect all over the US. Good stuff man!
Great video guys! so cool to finally see in the store! I have always been interested!
And "thumbs up" for Double Dungeons! lol
Merry christmas Gamester!
Holy crap, that's an awesome store@_@ Thanks for sharing with us. Have a good day!
Wow!!! That's one hell of a store, I just might have to take a drive down I-91 Great video!!!
Very cool. Thanks for posting this. I had a great time hanging out my friend. Until the next time..... :)
ok I need to take a very long road trip down to that place. I'm drooling at the goodness
THIS IS GREAT. thank you for all of us who cant go to these places.
Aw man, I wish we had that store where I live. If I'm ever in NJ, that would probably be my first stop!
Holy crap that store is awesome!
awesome game store i wish we had those over here in holland
Yeww Australian/European Dreamcast controller! :)
Great video Gamester, love seeing these types of videos!
I love hearing you talk about the random history facts. Truly what makes your show worth watching. Anyone can go out and buy a bunch of shit. It takes a true collector/historian to know what he/she has.
I love browsing their forums. Nice, Knowledgable people there.
Looks like a store I really need to get down to sometime, decently priced and a great selection. Cool sonic 3 banner at the end too. Great video john!
I would've picked up the C128, both you guys rock, I love these shop vids
i go to this store all the time! about once a month. it really is mind blowing walking into the store, you'll never be around that much memorabilia. one thing i didn't see in this video was the apple pippin in the case with the 3do and the pcfx. they also had a amiga cd32 in that case, but i haven't been in a while, they may have moved it out.
Your my Fav UA-camr gamster im so glad u have 3 acc and make videos on all of them
@venom477 Bookmans is pretty cool. They have locations in Mesa and in Phoenix.
I will have to visit this place next time I go to NYC.
Great video, I can hear people playing Metal Slug in the background!
hey anyone know if i should buy knuckles chaotix from my local store it's priced at £150 that a decent price?
@Vennard98 I know in Cali PlayNTrade is fairly big. Have you ever been there? You're close to the Giant Bomb guys in the bay area...there has to be some good gaming stores in that area.
Freakin WOW!!!!
What A Place/Price!!!
Awesome store wow i give this video thumbs up.
I would kill to have a shop like that in Sheffield!
yeahh im definately gunna need to be visiting digital press now :D
That is the best store I have ever seen!! I wish there was something like that near me. I live in the U.K and a decent retro game store is really hard to find :(
Great store! :D It has all kinds of games for every system. :)
I post on the digitpress forums and it's a great gaming community. I really wish I could visit the store since it looks amazing, but I live on the other side of the country unfortunately.
thumbs up for the NBA Jam poster!
man, I spent the night in Clifton a few years ago. if I would have known about this store I would have gone. cause who needs sleep when there are retro games to be had!
Good stuff as usual, Gamester. Seems like a very cool place. Too bad we have second to none like these in Denmark. :( Chris' knowledge about the TurboGfx never cease to amaze me.
dam this is 5 mins away from my dorm, wish i woulda known you guys would be there
do you know where there is a store like this in southern california aka la
The art looks awesome!! I wouldn't mind buying some! Is there any links to check some out?
i was wondering where you got all those old games . . .
thanks gamester for mentioning in the dreamcast stuff.. Dreamcast for life
@Gamester81 :D you uploaded this on my bday DEC 20 and OMFG I LIVE HALF A MILE AWAY FROM CLIFTON GAMESTER
sou um gamer brasileiro apaixonado, e este vídeo é incrível.
meu corpo ficou no brazil , mas minha alma fez um tour na digital press.
muito obrigado e um abraço gamester81.
Man if I lived near this store I'd always be broke!
I have the Batter-Up for SNES & GEN.. They aren't the best controllers but were a fun idea.
Great tour!
is there any games you wished you got way back then
I could spend so much friggin' money there xD Awesome video!
@Gamester81 The Whale approves. Awesome store. I wish I can travel across the states to go to this store. I really enjoy listening to the podcasts and videos.
I spotted a copy of Valis II for the Turbo Grafx in one of the cabinets
Do you like the series at all John?
Man this place looks awesome! What did they have in the way of Dreamcast games? I just picked one up recently and am looking for a few titles. Those controllers look nice too. The one that came with my system is kinda yellowed. :/
@GameCollectinz Yes but there is a special adapter to do so.
New Jersey huh. Do you think Snooki visits the DP store? :)
Great tour
why can't these type of stores be in fall river, MA
damn i wanna go there
thats an awesome store! i wish i had stores like that around me. i live in the chicago area, and the only way that i know of to get retro games is through ebay
lol way to go spida on track and field!!!!
@thatguyontheright1 upper or lower michigan? I live in the U.P.
Anystore like this that you know of here in Phx???
That's my store!!! :)
Theres actually alot of retro game stores in new jersey for some reason theres like 4 or 5. Theres 2 in newark and 1 in some back wood town with a fitting name black wood, NJ lol
those controllers for the dreamcast is coming from a bulk seller in the UK
Ha!!!! i traded that mag in and like 50 others so random to see that in a vid lol
@getitgetitgetit No they didn't have it from what I could see.
Stores like this are awesome, and I can see that you guys had burger king :D
store is great like 15 min from my house my store is just like it but sadly we are closing our dors the 31st
best vid ever
How much was the NES there :O
damn ! if I ever hit the lottery .. I'm gonna buy up that store !! :D
@Gamester81 The reason why the Dreamcast logo is blue in the PAL countries, is to avoid a trademark dispute with the German video game/DVD publisher, Tivola Publishing, whom already used an orange swirl as their company logo. I personally think that the blue logo is the better one, because when I think "blue" I think "SEGA".
Lol I wish we had stores like this in the Lower Mississippi/Alabama Area...
That shop / museum looks amazing . If I went there i would have to leave my wallet at home so I wouldn't bankrupt myself
I seen a full boxed copy of Final Fantasy III for the snes so I'm pretty much sold on the store. What I wouldn't do to eventually go down there and take 1000 dollars with me. I've already spotted quite a lot and to be honest from my perspective everything seems adequately priced.
@fvgotch I actually own a Watara so please trust me I do know what one is.
i saw panzer general i still have that game for my playstation 3 which i found out was backwards compatible with playstation 1 software so i went out and bought some playstation 1 games
@tripdeez
or in germany? =( im feeling with you man^^
I go to bookmans in mesa every week, their classic game selection used to be a lot better a few years ago. Still a very cool place with the best return policy I've ever seen.
Awesome looking store with an amazing inventory... but prices seem a bit inflated. That's usually the trade off.
I live in NJ! For the second time in my life (the first being when i found out about eight on the break) I am a gamer who is happy to be in NJ. I went here yesterday and it was fuckin awesome! A little bit of a drive but totally worth it!
@kickflipjr its in NJ
@ryanc519 I did...how could I not. =)
i must have that sonic 3 baner
are these the same people that make the digital press guides, and why are they so hard to find
@Gamester81 Damn! Lucky...
lol i used to have a pico when i was young XD. and i had that Mickey game on the front of the shelf.
Damn, that place looks like game heaven. If I won the lottery, I'd clear that place out.
Looks like Pete Dorr's game room :D
they need a Starbucks and a large couch to sleep on in there so I could last a week or two of searching lol
Damn! I need to change my boxers now...
@HappyConsoleGamer LOL! I had a feeling! :)
@OzNinja81 Yeah, it's amazing how they have games from all generation in stock. You don't see too many stores like that around these days, especially with the infestation of Gamestop location in every city nowadays.
@GameCollectinz
Yes
That would be worth the ten hour drive.
I live in Buffalo NY i have like six retro stores right next to me but nothing like this. The one place is close to this called oogie games but not exactly the same. Ill have to make my way down there sometme. Great vid Gamester.
I met the AVGN here
