I loved T-shirt week a lot. The number of projects you are able to put together with all the invisible work required, is breathtaking. I got inspired and cut out the square neckline t-shirt. I am sending many thanks and a big chunk of appreciation to you.
Oh, thank you! It’s my pleasure! I really love doing it.
Thanks Whitney for t-shirt week and for the daily vlogs. You are keeping me inspired and I enjoy sewing along with you. That red square neck t-shirt is fabulous on you. The neckline is so flattering. That is a neckline I'd like to perfect. See you tomorrow! Keep safe and sane.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this series!
Oh my! That camel coloured boat neck is so chic! Such a classic addition to your wardrobe. And styled beautifully.
Thank you! I do love a good boatneck!
Dear Whitney I am so inspired by your videos 💜 My heart goes out to you having to school the children but you still sewed all those t shirts!¡! your amazing! I homeschooled my children by choice so I know what it takes, praying for you and your family. My children are grown now and all over the U.S. so now I can design and sew, sew, sew!!!💜😋
😂 the homeschooling has been a bit rough, but the sewing is keeping me sane and level headed so I can be the best mom I can be. It’s a definite balancing act!
Whitney you look stunning in all the outfits. My favourites are the green, red and copper colours on you. Thanks a million for all your hard work and so generously sharing your skill with us. Again you looking stunning on all outfits--just remembered the boat neck Stoff fabric top with the trousers was so elegant and your red heels are super cute!
Thank you!!
You must be so wiped out!! What an amazing week, Thanks for all this inspiration! 😃 🇨🇦
PS The boat neck with the white pants... exquisite :)
I love the boat neck with the white trousers, too. Look so glam! Do you know which pattern that was?
@@teresamorgan4529 She used the Pamela's Pattern Extension pack ,
pamelaspatterns.com/104-the-perfect-t-shirt?ReturnUrl=LwBwAGEAdAB0AGUAcgBuAHMA
It was the Pamelas Pattern Perfect tee with the expansion pattern that includes the boat neck (you need both to do this). I’m wearing it with my Liesl and Co Hollywood trousers!
that red square neck tee is PHENOMENAL on you ❤️
Thank you! It’s become a fast favorite!
Now you have a truly AWESOME wardrobe, all the colours all the time. Such pretty outfits xxx
Thank you!! These definitely filled some holes and are really going to stretch the pieces from The Great Module Sew Along!
Whitney, wonderful work done on this series! Great T-shirts and Tank tops. I don't know why, but it still surprises me that my favorite is the square neckline. It is so flattering on you! I would definitely enjoy watching a future underwear tutorial. Thanks! Take care & God Bless.
I really love the square neck line as well! I’m already thinking up ways to hack that pattern!
You can never go wrong with solid tees! They all look great! I am slowly increasing my basic tee game, and I appreciate seeing all your looks. Also, I force myself time get dressed while in quarantine too. It makes me feel better, and each day is still a gift even if I am in the house all day!😂
Definitley!! Getting dressed makes me feel a TON better!
Really loved t shirt week. Thank you for all your work.
My pleasure!
Thank you so much. You give me a boost I very much need. I was recommended to you by UA-cam, probably because I had followed Vivmom sews and Joy Bernhardt. I am so glad because I am 5 ‘ 1 1/2” and I love your dog Gidget. I lost my Pekingese in August 2018 after 16 years, she reminds me of my Sandy. Always looking to see if Gidget is hanging out with you. Sandy would only come in my sewing room to look out the window, they go all the way to the floor. She would stay in the hallway as if to protect me.
Aww! Pups are the best! Gidget is a Velcro dog in that she is ALWAYS by my side. She is the best little sewing assistant 😉.
Love them all but really love the boat neck line. Superb.
I agree! It’s such a classic neckline!
Really enjoyed the dailies and tdy lookbook. My absolute fave is the faux camo wanted tee paired with the skirt. My workout is listening to the daily vlogs...bc I rush up to my closet to see what I can refashion!
😂 that’s a great workout plan!
I just wanted to let you know that I loved everything you showed us this week. I am also glad that you are putting the online stores you are using because I cannot always get good T shirt material where I now live in Allende NL Mexico. So I will be trying them out. I have learned to make my own Patterns to fit and will finally devote my time to myself. Love all that you do and Thank You for sharing.
I’m so glad! Those links are some of my favorite stores. Enjoy!
You look so vibrant and pretty in the look book! You would never know you had been holed up at home! You aren’t showing many sign of stress. I just printed out the Wanted Tee and I also got the Jarrah sweater and free acacia panties from M.N. I am in need of undies so I’m gonna do some scrap busting, I love it! Also, the Jarrah I’m doing in a couple of burnout fabrics I have for light long sleeves summer tops. One fabric is red I just got from Girl Charlie in the flawed section, (love my $2 fabrics) a gorgeous orange red I think would work great for you, since you’re loving red. Thanks again for such a fantastic week!
😂 thank you! It’s a wonder what makeup can do! I really love the Acacia pattern and the Jarrah! They are great ones!
Such a great job on all of your Tees. I learned a lot and really want to start buying better knits, especially merino and organic cotton/spandex. Thank you Whitney! ❤️🌵
I’m so glad!
Loved t-shirt week!!!
I am so glad!
The colour palette is beautiful. So good knowing your colours. I do now also want a red square neck tee. So pretty.
Yes!! Red square neck tops for all!
Lol. Yes
I've been enjoying seeing your videos. They make me feel more connected lately. I would love to see you explain, more in-depth, about fitting and pattern adjustment. Perhaps you could use one of your children as models for this? Thanks for inspiring and entertaining us.
I can definitely do more talking abut fitting and pattern alterations. Stay tuned!
All of the shirts are pretty...love the colors..3/4 sleeves are my favorite too
I just think that sleeve length is so flattering!
I love the green merino with that skirt, so beautiful!! The butterscotch boat neck with your white wide hem pants is so elegant! Your Wanted Fancy Camo top looks awesome with that skirt and your shoes are on point with the whole ensemble! I think the Wanted tee really helps draw your eye to your shoulders and slims out your bust line, I hope you make many more of those , it's really flattering! You didn't do a look book with the undies! lol I wouldn't have done it either! lol Can't wait to see what you get up to this week!
Thank you!! I only made up one pair of undies to make sure I liked the pattern before I cut out more. However, I provably won’t be modeling those 😂.
I really enjoyed the week. Thanks.
I am so glad!
Loved everything about this Tshirt Week. Learned lots of little tips and definitely have plans to make some for myself when I can get some nice knits. I made an Afra from FibreMood with old stash but don't have any appropriate tshirt knits as I have previously been afraid to sew with them. I did pick up some patterns this week though in prep for my own adventure in tshirt making. Diving in the deep end now! Thank you thank you for all the videos and hard work you have put into this week for all of us to learn from and enjoy!
Yay!! I’m so glad you’re going to give t-shirts a go!
That avacado merino wool is lovely!
Thank you!! I really love the color!
And thank you for the great videos 💕
My pleasure!
The avocado, red and copper colours look beautiful on you. My sewing machine doesn’t like fine knits or else merino wool here I come........I just wish the fabric store had a shop in the UK......but then I’d need to upgrade my sewing machine. Lovely makes as ever.
Thank you! The merino is lovely!
Hello, what a nice collection. That avocado merino tee looks gorgeous, I so need one in my closet 🙋🏻♀️
That merino knit is pricy, but is SO lovely to wear and work with!
Always great videos! 💕🇨🇦
That's so kind! Thank you so much!
Loved all of the T-shirts!!!! I am a bit behind but you did a great job.
Great week - thank you. I’ve saved the neckline episode for future reference! 😍👍
Oh good!
Yes, especially fabric stores in America for us in other countries!
Sure!
Great job Whitney 👍 I'm love watching it inspires me to try knot sewing. Please give tips on picking fabric to best make a pattern. Your fabric knowledge is so good.
Knit!!
😂 sure! I’m planning on doing a “favorite places to buy fabric online” video this month so stay tuned!
I love your You Tube videos thank you learning so much.
It’s my pleasure!
The Wanted looks fabulous on you, the Henley too. I really like the olive refashion too. They all look great
Thank you so much!
Absolutely loved t-shirt week thank you! So many ideas and inspiration.

I’m so glad you enjoyed this!
I have really enjoyed this series, as I do all your videos. I think I can tackle that fantastic square neckline now! Thanks so much.
I’m so glad!
Loved the tshirt week and daily blog.
Loved the copper on you and great lipstick❤
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed t-shirt week!
Thank you for the great week. I enjoyed it and your daily videos during this crazy time. God Bless you and your family. Stay Healthy!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying this series!
Thank you for doing T-shirt week! My favorite was the square neck line shirts. Very flattering! I have the Love Notions tank pattern, and you’ve inspired me to make some for the summer.
Oh good! That’s a great tank pattern!
Loved them all, beautiful. Thanks, learned a lot especially all the different necklines, have always shyed away from v necklines but will attempt one now!
Oh good!
Such a great week of stitching! As I watch, I keep thinking, “Oh, I love that one!” They’re all great. Your styling on the Pamela’s pattern boatneck is particularly perfect. Great outfit. I think I need some merino wool in my life. I definitely need some square necklines in my life. Thank you for all the inspiration! I’m not only motivated to make tees, but tanks and underwear, too!
How lovely! I’m so glad!
Hi,
Thanks for all your work, enjoyed T shirt week. I am going to work on the henly technique and the boatneck. Your wardrobe is fantastic !
I’m so glad you’re going to try a few!
Thank you so much for this, you are an inspiration. The square neckline looks so glam, I found a Mccalls basics pattern with different necklines in my stash so I'll try some of those.
Great!
New subscriber here. Your videos have been helpful. I thrift often and love you the men’s thrifted sweater idea.
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad the videos have been helpful!
I bought the Wanted T after seeing how fabulous it looked on you but it's on hold now as I've signed up to the team making scrubs for our city hospital. Hoping to make 20 sets this week so my Juki will be smokin' haha!! Loving your daily vlogs
Fantastic! Thank you for your service! It’s a great thing to be doing. I did fall into the mask hole and made as many as I could until my elastic ran out!
This was a great series. I love seeing how you style them.
I would like to see summer jacket/topper week. Knit jackets, woven, cardigans - all the toppers that work with air conditioning.
That’s a fun idea!
Thumbs up for all of them! And I'm sure those tanks will be work horses for a long time.
I did have a thought about that blue top with the bleach spot you had mentioned the other day. How about a little tie die "science class"? Activity is a fine line between chore and fun...
😂 my kids would love a bleach science lesson! That’s a great idea!
Great selection!- you've made me rethink the square line tee.. I have Connie Crawford's knit t-sloper pattern and it includes a square T version. Thank you for the inspiration!
Oh good!! You should definitely give it a go!
I love it now I know to do too tank and underwear yaaay
Oh good!!!
great looks so talented
Thank you!
Fantastic job, thank you so much for taking the time to do this series. I only managed to get two Tshirts and one hoodie made this week, but I am motivated! (Please do underwear)
I’m so glad! Stay tuned for the underwear!
Great recap of your Tee-Shirt Week. I enjoyed this and learned a lot. Thank you. ~ L
I love hearing this!
I always thought I couldn’t wear wool, but merino doesn’t bother me. Yay 😀
That’s great to know!
Love them all! REALLY enjoyed this series!
I’m so glad!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost my password. I love any help you can give me
@Maxwell Kenzo Instablaster =)
@Vincenzo Gael thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Vincenzo Gael it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
Love your all your shirts the red square one if you could do a dress you would look beautiful ❤️
Thank you! I think a dress with the Wanted neckline would be pretty fabulous!
Loved every single t-shirt! I have trouble with lightweight knits curling and shifting while I sew. Any advice as to how to get better control sewing these fabrics? You are such an inspiration! I get it about anxiety. Never experienced this before until now. I’ve gotten more projects done over the last few weeks that I kept saying I’ll get to it later! Great feeling and certainly occupies the mind. Thank you for being such a saving grace with your educational, entertaining videos.
I’m so glad you enjoying the channel! As far as lightweight knits, they can be very frustrating. I find that by going slowly and trying not to stretch the fabric, you have the best luck.
Loved all of your makes and styling tips. Thanks Whitney
Have you already done a “stripe matching” vlog or is this something that you’re considering doing?
Currently off of sewing for myself- have been roped in to make wash bags for NHS staff to put their clothes in for taking home in order to throw the whole lot in the washing machine- currently waiting on another delivery of fat quarters
Thanks for doing these daily vlogs - really appreciate them 🤓✂️🧵✂️🧵🤓🏴
Good for you! That’s such a great thing you are doing! I’m talking about stripes and stripe matching in today’s vlog so stay tuned!
Loved loved loved t-shirt week! I want to sew a henley pattern so badly. I love the look of a henley. To me they are a little more stylish than a plain t-shirt and are comfortable to wear. Is there nothing that you cannot sew? You are amazingly talented! I'm glad you want to make these videos. Watching them helps me keep my sanity while we shelter in place. Here are a couple ideas for future videos: could you show how you put your snaps on the henley tee and perhaps explain what supplies are needed and provide some affiliate links? also a tutorial on how to sew underwear might be nice. What is the best fabric to use for underwear, maybe an affiliate link to source underwear elastic. Just a couple thoughts off the top of my head. Have a happy Easter!!
Sure! Underwear sewing is coming up soon!
Love.. love... all of them and quite possible you too... lol💕
Aww! Thanks!
I want them all lol
❤️
😃
❤️
Did you do a sew along for Square neck top? I couldn't find it. Thank you!! Love your makes!!!
I did! It’s in the neckline tutorial video. It’s the very last one!
Knit sewing!!
😂
Whitney- I think you addressed this but can you confirm that we can get both a Tee shirt and Tank top out of 1.5 yards or meters of fabric. S-M. Merino and organic cotton knit.
I was able to get both a t-shirt and a tank out of 1.5 yards (and meters) of fabric, but not out of all t-shirt patterns. Also, because of my height i had shortened the tank by 3” which helped getting both out of it as well.
TomKat Stitchery Thank you!
Very nice. Love how you styled your shirts. Where can I buy the wanted t shirt pattern?
Thank you! The link to the pattern is in the description box below the video!
Love all your tshirts, especially the rust boat neck and light colored wide leg pants, both look fab on you!! Where did you fund the gorgeous red cotton knit fabric?? Thanks
Thank you! The red knit and the boatneck knit are the same fabric in two different colors. I bought them at Lets Sew down in Evansville, IN, but they are Stoff knits. They are organic and pricey, but so very lovely to wear and work with!
Thank you , love all your sewing . You mentioned you daily work out , what's it like or do you follow an instructor?
Right now it consists of either walking outside or doing the treadmill. I’m also doing yoga (off of UA-cam) for strength building. It’s something to do!
Whitney, quick question. What patterns did you use for the wide leg white pants and loose fitting jeans? Loved all the tops. Great job.
The wide leg white pants are the Hollywood Trousers by Liesl and Co Patterns and the looser jeans are the Eddystone Jeans by Itch to Stitch Patterns.
Finally able to comment again...UA-cam fixed the glitch 😊
Oh good! Welcome back!
On the Love Notions Summer Basics Tank how did you decide on using the Full Bust piece? I have the pattern & not sure what size I should use & if I should also use the FBA piece. Thanks!
I have a 4” difference between my upper bust and my full bust, which is right on the line for their recommended standard bust/full bust. I tend to fall more in their standard bust sizes for most of their patterns, but have to use the full bust every now and then. I figured this pattern out after making the standard bust. I decided I needed more room so have been using the full bust ever since!
After watching the video again where you added the strip to the bottom of the hem on pamelas tshirt at a quarter inch, you folded the added strip up just to the inside where its running along the bottom it makes the top 3/4 inch longer technically than it would have been just turning up the bottom hem without the strip, right?
If the hem was supposed to be 1”, then yes.
Oops, never mind I found out where your fabric came from!! Silly me 🙃🙋🏻♀️
😂
Beautiful clothes! Where do you get your tags?
I got the fun saying ones from StyleMaker Fabrics. They are Kylie and The Machine labels.
Do you hang or fold you knit tops? Do you have a favorite “tnt” pattern?
I fold all my knits. I think all of the patterns I used this week would be considered t-shirt TNTs!
I love all your T shirts! Particularly the Wanted Tee. I ordered it and changed the language to English, but the pattern still has the French language. Were you able to change it and if so how?😊
I didn’t translate it. I just went off the pictures and then did my own thing where it was warranted!
@@TomKatStitchery Thank you. That's what I am going to do
Hi, great week of t shirt work! when you style your clothes, how do you remember what goes with what? I tend to grab whatever and go and I really need to put outfits together! I am sooo bad at this ! thanks for sharing your work with us. It is hard to believe that you are an introvert as your videos show nothing like this!
😂 I am an outgoing introvert. I have to recharge by being by myself in my own head. Too many distractions eventually scrambles my brain! As far as remembering outfits, I find that pictures tell a more accurate story than the mirror so I keep pictures on my phone!
Hi Whitney! Loved this series. I went on Amazon in Canada and the tapes “Sewkeyz” aren’t available from Canada. 🤦♀️. Would you suggest another brand name. With our fabric stores all closed... you know the story. Thank you!
Try the Palmer/Pletsch website. They sell them as well!
Thanks so much. ✌️
Hi Whitney, I have enjoyed watching the episodes for the T-shirt week. I have another question not related to that, I have tried to look for myself but I cannot find it. A couple of months back you made an unusual shirt, from memory it had three different colors with points and angles. Can you tell me what pattern you used, please? Regards Jenny
Hmmm. I am completely drawing a blank. Was it a knit top or woven top?
@@TomKatStitchery It looked like a woven shirt, pastel colors, asymmetric. I know it was around the time you received all that fabric from your mentor. Did you make it for her? You were modelling the shirt?
Jennifer Morozoff ohh! Yes, that was a Nancy Zieman pattern. I made it for Joyce and, unfortunately, used her pattern that I returned with the shirt. I have no idea what the number was, I just remember it was Nancy Zieman. There is a good chance it’s in the description box of the video, though.
@@TomKatStitchery Thank you Whitney, I found it.

❤️
Everything looks great! And thank you so much for showing the belt loop tuck!! ❤️
Happy to pass along any styling tricks I happen to pick up!
Love all the t-shirts! And tank tops! Really enjoyed this week and am encouraged to sew me some t-shirts.
I’m so glad!
