On my last t-shirt I sewed it first with a sewing machine and then went over the seams again with a serger. I think I am not real clear on where my serger’s 3/8” seam allowance is....thank you for doing the videos. Will have to check out the serger one next and the neckbands. I do love a v-neck but they are quite a bit more fussy than a scoop neckline.
Hi KIm! I wish there was UA-cam 25 years ago when I bought my first serger. I only used it to finish seams and hated every time the threads came undone or the color had to be changed. You have taught me so much and now I am not afraid of my serger!! Thank you!!

I purchased my serger from a store second hand, and there has been frustrating times rethreading it, but having the book handy really helps. I do love my machine!
The classic tee is so versatile. I have ones for PJ tops and others for everyday wear. I have discovered the perfect fabric with this pattern is AGF cotton spandex jersey
