Destiny 2: Warmind All Cutscenes (Season 3)

- The Destiny 2 Warmind campaign introduces Ana Bray who's on a search to uncover her past. During this time she introduces us to Rasputin who Zavala refuses to trust, even if Ana pushes forward. This wouldn't pay off until Season 9, but in addition to these main missions, some important context to Nokris, Xol, and some data Ana downloads about a weapon take place during Warmind that seem to be building to pay off in the future! This was also the introduction of the Spire of Stars raid lair that has you enter the Leviathan yet again to take out the uninvited guest Val Ca'Uor.
A note on subtitles: This (mostly) has them captured as off except during adventures. Because there's not a specific person talking to you I always turn them off in those segments. In addition, CC is added by UA-cam automatically and community contributions have been turned on. In order to retain the highest quality video possible for future use in other features, I opted for this style of presentation. Just started playing, love the few missions left with the warmind, wish there was more! He's awesome!
looking back at this, bungie really did set up an awesome story. looking forward into beyond light and the witch queen. The deep stone crypt was mentioned, savathun was mentioned, and in the final segment there's a voice that tells us to "drown in the deep" which is rhulk. Amazing!
They actually planned most of it from start imo. I was recently seeing red wars video and found one enemy who's tied to savathun when we first encounter taken , around same time ikora guesses someone taking over " taken " after death of taken king.
Was amazed to see how they planned so much from year 1 of D2.
@@Supernova094 in the Taken King, they said the Cabal have no leadership left in Sol and the Cabal were sensing more in. I knew either in DLC or D2, they would be the first enemies.

When calus said "there is no light here" it sounds eerily similar to what osiris tells us when we pass through the first gate with the spores in the glycon

I have played the Warmind campaign and I genuinely don't remember the part when you go to the EDZ and fight taken

Man, I wish we had the Valkyrie as an actual weapon (most likely an exotic heavy that forced 3rd person) it sounds so fucking cool to just have a javelin in your back pocket

Too bad you can't freaking grind them out even if you bought it at the time, even though literally all of the data is still present. Still very salty about this.

Wtf does the screen flash at 25:16?? I've tried like 30 times to catch it and pause but it's a fraction of a second. The only thing i can tell is the word "comment" I think. So frustrating!

I haven't played Warmind but I have played Seraph. She sounds same when talking on comms but during the cinematics she sounds completely different and I was wondering if she had a different VA or if I was just out of my mind. I like her voice. Gave me a chuckle when she said "Aww you have one of the uptight ghosts."

She's too gung-ho for this stuff. I respect that her family created him, but creating is not understanding regardless of your "connection" to him. Groups like Clovis Bray seem to cross a lot of lines whether she's aware of it or not. As such, Zevala being cautious is a completely sensible stance.
Still can't believe they wasted Xol, a literal worm god of the Hive, on a forgettable campaign mission in a short DLC; not even an expansion, let alone a raid boss with huge narrative implications. 🙄
My guy, lol he's literally the weakest worm God that has absolutely no purpose. He's the runt of the Gods, which is why he's "working" with Nokris, an outcast. The only one that even posed a major threat was Akka because he had powers directly from the Witness, and he was killed by Oryx to become the Taken King.
Still a worm God.
