Trumpers are incredible used this company for decades now amazing value for money and not irritation at all - my old man used them also, lovely stuff

I had a cut throat razor shave at a Turkish barber and they set fire to a little flexible stick and slap your face all over the beard area after the shave is done. It doesn't hurt and the shave is first class.

Geo F. Trumper is great. They offer awesome products and service. And to all guys commenting about using a disposable razor: Of course they use disposable razors for hygienic reasons! Everybody who thinks about it knows that using the same straight razor blade for all customers would be irresponsible.
They do use a straight razor but with a removable blade. They don’t use a crappy Gillette. That was just him showing the customer how to shave properly with his own choice of razor. Personally I use a DE.
I cannot understand this! Every time I have been there I have been treated with utmost respect and time!

That's one way in London. The other way is to go to a traditional Turkish barber. Try "Jack the Clipper" - they have a vid on UA-cam.

WOW!! The guy was using a disposable cartridge razor, in a "fine" barbershop" what a joke!!
That was when he was teaching a guy how to shave in a shaving class, not when he actually gave someone a shave.
It may also be due to hygiene. Many countries won't allow straight razors
they only ever use open razors, (cut throat) this is the oldest barber in London, do you actually think they would use a safety razor? ffs
