I've had 3 wet shaves in my life, all because I wanted to experience at least 1..so it was on my bucket list and I found 3 places that did them in my area. Now I'm growing my beard again (the first one took off the 5 year beard I had) and I think the closest I'll get to a wet shave is one that's just for touch ups and shaping as I rather like how I look with a beard...also it seems like a thing I'm inclined to do...my dad has a small beard/goatee thing going on, my little brother is similar and me..I'm just letting it go and see how long it will grow down..don't know if I'll get a "Gandalf" length but I'm wanting to see lol. Shaves for me are now more about keeping it lined up and my cheeks free of hair as I have some wild hairs that grow fairly high up my cheek bones. Also getting a wet shave is rather pricey at times due to the lack of places that actually do it around where I live..and one uses a gel instead of shaving cream so out of the 3, I only really count 2 of them.
If i get the chance to visit London this summer truefitt and hill is a must visit place for me! Ive been using their products for more then 6 months and they serve me incredibly well, worth every penny!
It’s unfortunate that the only place I found a wet shave with a straight razor was in Mexico when I went a few years back. Everyone in California is required to use a Shavette with disposable blades for sanitary reasons. I don’t think Shavettes give as close of a shave as a proper straight. That’s why I ended up just buying a Ralf Aust razor and doing it myself.
Hello, I think that if you bring your own razor US barbers will be glad to use it on you. Surely you don't want to share a razor with other clients. Cheers!

I really enjoy your videos and stories Sir, greetings from Chile.
Thank you very much Leo!
What happened to the original version of this video? Now I can only find the asmr version here on UA-cam.
I would expect my shave to be much closer than that.
I missed the “are you comfortable, Sir?”
this was excellent
It’s unfortunate that the only place I found a wet shave with a straight razor was in Mexico when I went a few years back. Everyone in California is required to use a Shavette with disposable blades for sanitary reasons. I don’t think Shavettes give as close of a shave as a proper straight. That’s why I ended up just buying a Ralf Aust razor and doing it myself.
Hello, I think that if you bring your own razor US barbers will be glad to use it on you. Surely you don't want to share a razor with other clients. Cheers!
I suspect a five blade cassette razor would achieve a smoother and closer shave but this is tradition.
he looks the same as when he came in!
lmaooooo
I recommend a shave like this for your gran!
Glad to see I am not the only one to have a scar on my chin from my childhood...lol
