Knowing my DE89L has been hand polished and manufactured with perfection engineering makes my morning shaves feel so great. Thank you so much for your lovely razors.
Until 2 weeks ago I had been swayed by German engineering and only owned Muhle and Merkur razors. All very good but then I branched out and bought a EJ 3ONE6. What a fantastic working piece of art. Somewhere between a R89 and R41 in the Muhle lineup. Plenty aggressive but smooth as silk. it is now my daily driver.
Glad to see the men and women behind the company. I have been using my Edwin Jagger Diffusion 72 Black Safety Razor set for two months now and enjoying every minute of it!
Great video, as a wet shaver for a number of years now I find that Edwin Jagger products are of the highest quality and as a Machinist myself I think its fantastic that a British company is making high quality products like this, few and far between, keep up the fantastic work.... All the best Mark.
I have tough, course, wiry whiskers combined with sensitive skin. The Edwin Jagger DE 89 razor is the only one I have ever used that gives me a BBS shave without irritating my skin or giving me razor bumps. A big thank you to Neil Jagger and his entire team.
My late dad was a machinist after WWII. I like this video about how you make them. I still have his GI bill issue machinist tool chest and many of his old machinist tools. I had never heard of Edwin Jagger until that Gillette ad came out last week. Had never considered double edge safety razor shaving. I just hadn't. So glad I discovered it. Bought one cheap safety razor, and watched some how to vids, got a great shave first time. No nicks no cuts. I'm hooked. Just bought my first Edwin Jagger safety razor. It was on my short list of 5 I am buying. FYI... when I did my online research Edwin Jagger came up again and again as one of the top brands of the best safety razors in the world. Cool that you are a family business. Can't wait until my Edwin Jagger arrives. From what I've researched, will be in my collection of shaving tools for rest of my life. And hopefully will invest in more. Cheers.
I own 2 Edwin jagger razors now and I love them, the quality of these razors are just fantastic and the fact these are made in britain is even better. I will be buying more products from this company in the future!
I ordered my first ever safety razor, a DE89L black diamond cut. Can't wait to use it for the first time. Now that I see how it was made, I'm grateful by the recommendation by Matt at Razor Emporium. Thank you ED
Hi Neil, I have owned a DE89 for a number of years and yesterday received my all Stainless 3one6. It is a beautiful razor and superbly made. It being made in Sheffield means a lot to me. We need more quality English made products. Very well done Sir. Kind regards, Dave Sheppard.
It’s made by Muhle isn’t it? Looks identical. I’m about to buy one. I have an Muhle R41 and an EJ R89 and the new stainless is in between the two. I find the 89 too mild. I like Fatip Open combs and R41 the most!
@@KRAZEEIZATION NO!!! It's made in Sheffield, England from an original design by Edwin jagger. It is made of 316 stainless Sheffield steel, hence the name. It is a far better razor than the DE89 or R89. It is a beautifully made razor. I own the all stainless and the red handled version. It actually looks nothing like the 89's. Dave.
@@davesheppard8797 Sorry for the confusion. My first ever DE was the EJDE89 and I'm pretty sure that it's identical to the Muhle head. The 3one6 and the Muhle Rocco stainless are indeed very different. I'm about to buy one and I'm wondering which is better. I use a Muhle R41 but I wish they made a SS version of that. I also use Fatip OC as I like aggressive razors. I've just ordered a Fatip Slant too! Thank you.
@@KRAZEEIZATION No problem, 😁😁. Its confusing sometimes with the De 89 & R89. So many makers use the Muhle 89 head now. I really like the 3one6 and also the Outlaw. Stay safe, Dave 😀😀
I have an EJ DE89, Super Badger Brush, and Aloe Vera soap. Some of the nicest kit in my shave den. You all make a fantastic product and it’s great to see how much care and attention goes into it!
I love all of your beautiful stuff. But can you come out with bigger shave soap. Like for a 20 oz soup cup. I love your soap but please make it more big.
Amazing products, you've taken shaving to the next level, beautiful engineering and pride in what you do. Long live family businesses, corporations are so dull and vanilla!!
I note you said your prototypes were made in house. You didn't mention if the production models were made in house, in Sheffield or even in England? Do you 100% manufacture in England still?
Perfect engineering? So why not stainless steel but zinc metal which is so so easy to break? So many users on internet are complaining about their ed98 breaking. You use this especially week metal to sell more, because they last just few years usually.
It is affordable for the quality you get i own two of them the 3one6 both with the stainless handles there great i like it so much i had to get one to put up

DE89L user here and I'm proud to tell the world. Thank you Edwin Jagger.
Fantastic products, man's tradition that will never change.
Excellent video. Thank you for taking the time out to show us your family.
I love my Edwin Jagger DE87 (faux ivory ) built solidly, beautifully finished. Well done!

After dumping my cartridge razor for a DE razor, I started to enjoy shaving. No tugging, no pulling and no burning. Just a pleasant relaxing me time.
A great choice indeed!

Amazing razors. I’ve been using the DE89 for years and love it. I hope to get a 3ONE6 when I can afford it.
You've come a long way in a relatively short time. Well done 👍

Great products.
My first and hopefully last razor.

They do, working factory in Netherthorpe surrounded by students flats.
Awesome stuff, can't return to plastic shaves anymore.

This makes it sound like the razors are not manufactured in England - only the prototypes are?
Hà nội việt nam thanhs you
*Time to make a 2 piece safety razor!*
I purchased the de89 and Muhle r89, they both say hand made but I can't find the difference except the handle.
@Thomas Jefferson so there's no real need of spending more on the Muhle, right?
❤

Make the 3one6 affordable!

It’s made by Muhle in Germany? Looks identical!
The 3one6 handle is such a disappointment. Either make a complete ss handle or don’t bother.
