The way you installed this 403 , is it the same way for the 1103 ?

How does the boat turn when you leave the torqeedo in the fixed steering lock mode

Better off moving the motor raising bracket to the top and putting the bike style quick adjust just above the steering block...no need for anything on the bottom and this allows for quick height adjustments and easier motor raising...

What about steering ?

We just use the rudder to steer the kayak. We have tied a Torqeedo into the rudder system to steer and added foot braces inside the kayak for steering also. It comes down to personal preference.

How is the steering with it in the fixed position? Is it harder to turn?
