The first half of the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
you guys should open up an online store to put these up for sale. Such great design should land in families who enjoy modern descent furniture. Great work!
Great work! The multi-stage sled you put together for the hooks was genius. Would never have occurred to me. I'd have done the first cut on all four pieces, then changed setup for the second and done all four etc. But that sled was so much more elegant!
I think you've outdone yourselves! I've never seen a coat rack imbued with such personality. The console table was a tough act to follow. Beautiful work.
Love the piece and the OG feel of the video. It’s great having some of your videos include the editing and feel of your older videos mixed in with the newer takes.
Very, very nicely done Shaun, all of it. Excellent design, really pleasing to the eye and still functional and the content was presented flawlessly. Thank you so much for the time and effort to provide such great content. Really enjoyed this one! God Bless.
Yo, Yo, Yo!!! What type of reindeer games are we playing here?? Got both notifications back to back for both Channels!! Went with the OG Channel first of course👍 Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
That is so f'n cool! Amazing design and craftsmanship. You guys are not Simon and Garfunkel. You are more like Mick and Keith. Or maybe Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee.
I'm an original Chris fan but I did find Shaun before the became duo and I'm honestly unsure who is the Mario or the laugi but Shaun feels more of the side kick
Looks great, Shaun. OF course, "#1" had to show at the end. Did you use a spacer to keep it parallel to the wall or was the cleat wide enough by itself? Take care. Bill
Great looking piece. But really quickly...can you scoot the console table just a little right. And square up the verticles on both pieces. (Sorry...graphic designer in me took over.). Looking forward to the next one.
I used to be a graphic designer. In reality the pieces right most edges are in alignment and the empty space to the left will be filled by a framed picture.
Thanks! The french cleat is 1/2" thick plywood, and it is inset from the ends of the piece by 3-4", so you would have to press your face against the wall with a flashlight to really see it.
Been away from the channel for a little bit. What's that thing Chris has been wearing on the right side of his head lately?? edit: actually, I see both of you guys wearing it in that last shot!
I love your designs guys and your plans are 2nd to none. But they’re just too expensive even with the discount I get from being a patron member I simply can’t afford it. And don’t get me wrong I know you work hard on them and I am by no means saying they’re not worth it they’re just out of the reach of most of us I just felt I had to let you know and this can’t be the first time you’ve heard this like I said no hard feelings I’m not having a dig just wanted to convey this to you keep up the good work guys👊

Proportion and division of line and face is a work of art. This rack looks both practical and beautiful.
I followed the Shaun Boyd channel first, so you have always been the 'Simon' in my eyes. Keep up the great work! I love how this project came out.
Thanks for being a part of it from the beginning! Chris and I will keep working on our harmonies.
I still can’t tell them apart!
I completely agree. I really loved the projects Shaun Boyd made on his channel... impatiently waiting for more ;p

Shaun, you have always been my number one. Well in this case at least 1A. I think the piece works better as Wall art over the console than a shelf
Appreciate it, Bodie!
Dude dropping the blade to closely match an angle is epic! Hell of a tip sir!!!
*EXCUSEME* hello sir 🙏🤝🇮🇩🇮
Pfffff spotlight, I followed you before I even knew of Chris! Great piece Shawn.
Haha, appreciate it! We like to think we are Simon and Simon.
Am I the only one who thought that in the intro, Shaun talked about his story of being a side kick? xD
I expected him to do the build wearing a cape.
Haha, I figured some people might think that is where I was going. We prefer to think of ourselves as Simon and Simon.
@@shaunb66 :D
Beautiful video with even more beautiful little messages.
touché with putting corgi footage over the ad... you got my retention
Haha, it is a win-win for everyone.
I love that the attachment of the rack to the wall is so easily done :)
Gotta keep it simple!
Yup. Is The famous french cleat.

@@shaunb66 will finish my Cece this week. Look forward to more!
I wish I had the knowledge and experience you have Shaun. You create some beautiful pieces.
Man, I’ve been missing the side kick a lot! Nice to see you again….
I'm a long time subscriber, but if I wasn't, this is definitely a video that would've gotten me too subscribe. Great work guys
Really appreciate that! Thanks for being a part of it.
dang! that intro with side kicks was pretty awesome!
Cool design Shaun! I really like how this one accents last the table. I like the solution for the shelf tenons and the hooks too!
Really appreciate it! They look good as a pair.
You both have a keen eye for designing beautiful pieces!
Thanks Will, appreciate it!
Waouh it s very beautiful ! Congretulation from France! Thank you !
That grain poping at the end woo looks mint
It was some good looking lumber!
Pippen and Jordan neither won a title without each other "but we all know their better together"
Looks like a piece of modern art sculpture. Wouldn't be surprised to see it inside the lobby of an ultra-ritzy skyscraper.
Appreciate it!
i had an idea like this but didn’t know how to work it out this helps a lot
I've been watching this channel for years and I just now realized that the Glasses in the logo spell an O and a U
That is all
Haha, at least it finally clicked!
What exactly did you think they were!
Goes together like Garfunkel and Oats.
I like the design of the hooks for the hat and backpack.
Thanks!
Nice going Robin.
the figure of the grain really makes that work .... looks nice :)
I agree, makes everything flow together nicely.
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Petition to rename the channel to eight eyes
Great film, well crafted just like the piece. I thought for sure shoes were going on the shelf. Mahalo for sharing! : )

@@shaunb66 Fo Sho!! Coat rack came out Dope!! Wouldn't expect anything less from you guys 👍
Awesome piece. I'd say the entry way table was built to go with the coat rack. The KC JoJo reference was truly unexpected. :)
Good Shaun, best choice about the hooks.
Thanks Julio!
This piece is super cool. I like the abstract stye of it.
Really appreciate it!
Oh my!! 🌞 🌞
Stunning! Making an art piece that is practical!!
Definitely not a side kick! A msin kick right in the goal! 🌞🌞🤟🤟🍾
Happy to hear that! Thank you!
Great job, Paul!
Appreciate it!
Good job Robin
Great design of the Pico Sundance Shelf and Coatrack. 😉
Haha, maybe should have called it the Cassidy Console Table.
Click and Like, gentlemen. Yet another awesome looking piece.
Thank you!
I like it, it looks great and very complementary 🥳👍
wait wait wait a minute... shaun is the sidekick? #blewMyMind
Sooooo NOT the sidekick brother! 🤣

Awesome intro! Slick.

Good job Andy Rickter.

Very nice design 👍
Thank you!
Such a cool intro, (and piece, of course!)
Glad to hear that! Thanks!
Has anyone ever told you guys that you remind them of a Laverne and Shirley?
less than 60 seconds in and gets a thumbs up for KC and Jojo lmao.
Glad to hear we have a crossover demographic!
Beautiful
That might have been the least skipped sponsorship in the history of youtube...
work you do is great, what design program are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks Bill! Yeah, the cleat was wide enough, so it didn't need a spacer at the bottom.
Got damn I want to be good like these guys one day! Wish I could do this with my hand tools!!!
looks good but how much weight can it hold?
this video made me sub

That's nice dude. Ballsy design I think.
Might be the best compliment so far. Appreciate it!
I wish I could afford to buy your guys' work!

@@Foureyes.Furniture That explains your great designs! Your instruction manuals. And your colorful collection of AIRS.
This is dope
Thanks!
It’s pretty cool but it was would way better if you used the golden ratio to make it a tad more appealing
This just in from WTTW channel, major fight breaks off on who is the sidekick...more after this....
Shocking twist: turns out they were both Garfunkel all along!
Very attractive piece. How did you hide the ends of the French cleat on either side?
Thanks! The french cleat is 1/2" thick plywood, and it is inset from the ends of the piece by 3-4", so you would have to press your face against the wall with a flashlight to really see it.

What program do you use to draw your blueprints?
Cool! But. Why not is the Chanel called foureyes?
Thanks! Up until recently it has been very hard to change a channel name on UA-cam. Now we are just being lazy. Maybe we will change it at some point.

If you can't drill a simple hole straight and plum, then you are...well you can fill in the rest.
What do you call Paul Simon's career after his break with Art Garfunkel?
Artless.
don't @ me, it's just a joke.
No joke, it is fact.
So …… who is the sidekick? 🤪
We like to think of it as Simon and Simon around here.
Not "Side Kick", Partner.

Thanks! We have tried to not buy much during the price spike, but at the end of the day it is part of doing business, so we just have to deal with it.
