    I had my gall bladder removed 13 yrs ago, carnivore for 4 yrs now, so my bile must be flowing pretty good. Just had blood work and 25 hydroxy D was 45 without supplements which indicates good absorption of fat soluble vitamins. But my HCL was low and was having motility issues which was corrected very quickly with HCl supplementation, thanks to Tony's advice here. Also taking beet flow just to be sure bile is flowing. Now trying to add ox bile which is kind of hard to find here, so am trying Tudca for now.

    WOW, Glad I found your video. Great information. Now I have information on trying to find my issues. I get terrible diarrhea. It is getting to a point that I no longer want to go anywhere and if I do I need to know where the bathroom is and be close to it or not eat all. I am able to sense when there is going to be a problem but a bathroom has to be right by me. I thought I had it under control for awhile using mini probiotic every other day. This worked at getting my bowels going in the morning with normal stools for awhile but I'm still getting very loose stools later in the day. I am finding that I am starting to get very depressed. Your information gives me hope at finding what will work for. Thank you for trying to help us. This is the most helpful information I have found. Doctor just says this is the way it is and you have to live with it. There is now some hope.

    (I have my gallbladder) but might as well not,
    I've suffered with VERY bad bloating/Burping & not digesting food/gas (almost fermenting for days) for as long as I can remember, no Acid Reflux though.
    Keto/carnivore helped me loose 100lbs and has helped me greatly enough to kind of pin point possible culprit, I've been taking Betain HCL with meals & Tudca in the morning since I only really eat at 6pm (IF) and something is definitely helping, I'm able to pass stool daily now but it varies from floating, black, pebbles, pale, leave skid marks and sometimes they are thin & long but at least I'm emptying a lot more now but the bloat is still prevalent, it's very abnormal & protruding almost cartoony, I think im eating too much fat as I have all the symptoms of it, I dont eat sugar, carbs & not really stressed, I'm going to order the Beet flow to see if it can help thin/move the bile, im wondering what do you suggest with this information and could I should add Ox Bile to my supplements. Purchasing (Magnesium malate, Choline, Epsom salt) while my bile flow improves and thins using your methods, I just cannot handle this bloating and burping any longer for any little thing I eat & drink (just water).

    Very helpful video but I have a question. You mentioned that the bile constantly trickles down into small intestine but at the end of the bile duct there is this sphincter of ODDi that’s usually closed until CCK and secretin are sensed in the food that’s moved from the stomach to small intestine. So, I just want to confirm whether the bile accumulates in that duct until chyme moves into duodenum and the sphincter opens to let the bile flow at that time or is the sphincter always open and bile flows constantly into duodenum? This is very confusing as many docs on YT say it’s a trickle but from anatomy stand point it’s not, at least that’s how I understand it. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

    • @nickshawn11
      @nickshawn11 8 місяців тому +1

      I think the sphincter gets removed with the gallbladder..

    • @krissto22
      @krissto22 8 місяців тому +3

      @@nickshawn11 I couldn’t find an answer to this so I asked my doctor and he said the bile accumulates in main bile duct until our meal moves into small intestine and that’s when the sphincter opens and the bile is released. If too much bile is released then we can experience loose stools hence the reason for eating small meals but more often. Eating a meal the size of your fist (unless you have big hands, lol) every 2 hrs or so is recommended. This way of eating also spreads the fats throughout the day and helps with loose stools as not as much bile is being released. All these YT doctors are saying that the bile trickles down the bile duct into our intestines whether we eat or not and that’s not correct according to my doc unless the sphincter was damaged due to other surgical procedures, but this condition would cause diarrhea after every meal depending on how much bile was produced. There are so many different conditions that can affect our gastrointestinal system, but the explanation above makes sense to me.

    • @nickshawn11
      @nickshawn11 8 місяців тому +1

      @@krissto22 but if we don't eat for a while the liver is still going to produce bile but no bladder to store it in...would it seep out in that instance?

    • @krissto22
      @krissto22 7 місяців тому +3

      @@nickshawn11 the liver adjusts bile production to the way we eat, the amounts and how often, etc. so for people without a gallbladder it’s important to get on some kinda schedule. I guess I forgot to mention in my previous post that eating small less fatty meals but more often would apply to people that just lost their gallbladder to help in healing. Once the body gets used to the new environment then we can slowly start incorporating different ways of eating, keto, omad, etc.

      I posted my question 4 months ago and still dealing with digestive problems on and off. Tried enzymes, psyllium husk powder, probiotics, slippery elm, Imodium and nothing helped long time. The only thing that helps is to eat rice or oatmeal cookies for breakfast and I don’t want to eat that as it raises my blood sugar too high. I think I’ll try ox bile half hour before my meal and see what happens. If this doesn’t work then the visit with a gastro doctor I’ll be next.

    Ox bile or enzymes better in case of diorrhea?

  • @HuFlungDung2
    @HuFlungDung2 11 місяців тому +6

    Supposedly, 90% of our bile gets reclaimed. So taking an ox bile supplement could theoretically boost the quantity of your bile production the next day. This seems like it might be better to take the supplement on an empty stomach so that it can work its way through the gut in a more leisurely fashion, without the complicating factor of food acidity superceding the flow through rate.
    It seems like a hopeless crapshoot 😮 to try to take a bile pill at just the right stage of digestion for it to optimize the acidity of the chyme.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  11 місяців тому +2

      If someone still has their gallbladder, we always prefer to see them take steps to thin bile so it will flow correctly. If someone has lost their gallbladder, even if bile is flowing correctly, it may not be enough of a bolus to do the whole job. That is why many do well when using ox bile. Supplementing with ox bile does have the ability to stimiluate bile production IF the body is not making enough. But not making enough seems to be rare. Bile becoming too thick to flow correctly seems more common.

      From what I have studied and what this video says bile from Ox bile or human made bile is very similar. The are both alkaline (not acid) Bile helps to breakdown food (especially fats and proteins)and neutralize the acidic partially digested food at the duodenum where the pancreatic duct/main bile duct all intersect.

    Hi.. I suffer from chronic on/off constipation and chronic dry skin/ acne. nothing seems to help long term. I suspect I have sluggish bile flow because my stool always floats but it seems contradictory because you say sluggish bile causes diarrhea from unneutralized stomach acid? Is it possible to have both with sluggish bile flow? I’ve watched all your constipation videos (raising stomach acid + anabolic imbalance) and maybe I’m doing them wrong but it stops working after a while. Would love your input. Thanks so much!

    My sister has a feeling of heaviness in her stomach. Nausea, fatigue, no energy and low hemoglobin. 2 years ago, he had the same symptoms. We went to the doctor for an abdominal ultrasound. He swallowed a probe on his stomach. But there was nothing on his stomach. Then they told him that you have bile to be removed. Then we went to another doctor and they told us that the bile cannot be removed a little. It is deformed and there is sediment. And it is not dangerous. Now she has the same symptoms again. Added to this is anemia and low hemoglobin. We were advised to go to a gynecologist because her cycle was excessive. The gynecologist told us about polyps of the uterus. I don't think that the feeling of nausea is the fault of the polyp and also the feeling of heaviness in the stomach. Could it be the fault of the bile? And we were wrong that the bile was not removed in time?
