Kid gave me chills just like the original version always does!!
Bass solo take One
Wow the tone is on point
I agree. It's hard to match a player's tone. Especially Cliff's. For someone to be able to do that it is pure dedication. The kid sure as hell picked the right dude to idolize.
To watch and hear a kid that age just absolutely kill it note for note - it gives me hope for this next generation. And to hear the crowd of gen z's appreciating it as they should only adds to the confidence that the future generation has some badasses with good taste. that song is 41 years old. I was 6 when my brothers had the vinyl, and would blast it on our dad's hi-fi Marantz receiver and RCA speakers. Most of you dont know what that is. But that system was top of the line back in the day. It wasnt radio shack quality... Im probably still speaking greek and youre all wondering what radio shack is - think of it as the K-mart of Fry's Electronics. We had Fry's back then too but it was a grocery store before it became an electronics store. No joke.
This kids about 16 maybe. When i was 16 i was a sophomore I think. Driving a baby shit brown volvo - 1992. That was a good year in music. But I didn't listen to a damn thing that was 40 years old when i was 16. Nobody did. Not one kid in 1992 listened to anything from 1951. I dont even think the beatles were out yet. This just goes to show that metal is timeless. It has more longevity of listeners and catches the ear of more generations than any genre. And that isnt subjective. This kid is proof. And I'm stoked that the legend of Burton lives on with today's youth. Its fucking amazing how well this kid plays this masterpiece. That's straight up badassery 1980's bay area thrash style. 🤘
that shit was cool asf dude
i am lost for words, the crowd reaction was phenomenal
He did not go home single that night
damn you nailed the tone
I bet some preppy girl in the audience was like "why am I listening to this emo trash 🙄💅" not knowing she probably won't be able to know how much dedication this guy had while playing this perfect masterpiece
bro the crazy thing is they always call every other genre that isnt pop or country, emo
To be fair, cliff's tone can be a bit too much for the unused-to-it ear. It has a lot of noise and individual notes can sound muddy when played too fast; which doesn't mean it's bad, but can very well confuse others; however this doesn't justify straight disrespecting it without acknowledging the effort that goes into playing this piece and all its movements
The old stuff , a young dude , the past is the future😊
This kid. Can play it all
Absolute masterpiece
Fantastic 🤘💀
