Ladies gentlemen and everyone in between that is what you call a holy shit or main character moment. Take your pick. In actuality as a guitarist of 4 years now that was fucking sick!! Keep up the amazing work.
Just to put this into perspective, this KID learned Eruption quite well I might add, his parts that were actually Eruption were clean and well played. He did that then interwove it into his own interpretation and added his own chops. Very well done young man!! 🤘🤘
Talent is the God-given gift that makes certain things far easier to do than almost everyone else. A didactic memory, knowing how to play the piano from your first touch, the ability to speak multiple languages, and knowing how to shoot a basketball effortlessly without hardly any training are all gifts. One of my little girls could not understand checkers, but her baby 3-year-old sister explained it to her. It's a gift. Hard work hones it, and they become masters at it. It says in the Bible, God speaking to young Jeremiah, "I knew you before I formed you in the womb." He created him to be a prophet. There is nothing new under the sun.
It's not just the skill of this kid that amazes me, it's his sheer confidence and energy. I know if I were there I would be standing in the middle of the hall and very awkwardly looking at my guitar, meanwhile he's jumping around like a madman. Ansolutely amazing
Wow. This came up in my feed and I honestly had low expectations, expecting it to be a cute attempt. I was a teenager when Van Halen hit the scene and was the reason I started playing. Phenomenal playing of Eddie’s live solo. I’ve seen Eddie live about 4 times. Your courage and dedication to play like him and give it as a free gift to the school at a talent show….wow. Nobody who heard you except maybe a few of the sports coaches who may have heard you will ever have a clue of what you just did or the work it took to play that, but I do. Keep playing, keep pursuing your dream. In fact, this is just what Eddie did. Don’t give up on your dream or leave playing bc you “have to go to college” or get a job. “Successful people find a way,” as they say. If you want it kid, you got it. Never give it up and Eddie will really be proud.
❤ That's exactly what I was saying. You was reading my mind. He plays like a master. It took EVH years to get it just right. Most kids nowadays know that the music of their times sucks, and are listening to dad's LPs.
Facts evh
No shit, that’s kind of how that works
They don't know yet. But their eyes were opened. They'll ask questions and they'll find.out that this kid.played EVH . I remember that someone opened my eyes to this genre and guitar at a young age. Sometimes you do it for the appreciation sometimes u do it for the initiation. Education. He did inspire some and that's the most important.
This kid is beyond talent. He's a master in the guitar world and he's got a great future in music.
Let’s not get carried away now.
@@woodywoodlstein9519 you’re bold to respond with that
@@woodywoodlstein9519 u do it
I bet he got some poon that day!! Great! Preformance!!
@@woodywoodlstein9519 I’d like to see you try. So come on, give us an awe inspiring performance.
Good Lord, my man you got the skills to keep the good music alive. Don't change styles, we need more people like you playing what you play. Best music in the universe. You freaking rocked the world with that solo, put in a lot of time and you deserve a shitload of recognition. I thank you because that, sir, is way above and beyond impressive. Rock on .
The genus of EVH was first he understood musically exactly what and how he was doing what he was playing and he could execute it like no one prior because of that knowledge and ability. But his ability to inspire others is legendary and may never again be seen, at least not by my generation, the generation that saw him live in concert, I did it and this young man is destined for Rock Star status if he Perseus it with the same passion and determination that EVH did! ROCK ON BROTHER!!
As someone who has played guitar for nearly 30 years can tell you what he did is very hard. It takes months of practice when you are good to memorize that. There are a thousand plus notes in that piece. Well done.
I had to watch this kid twice. Unbelievable. Eddie's riffage will be around forever. This kids dad was a kid when this classic hit the air.
I like to think this kid’s dad put him on to Eddie and the gang, and many other great artists. Maybe not though.
Kid Nailed It! And threw his own twists in there. Amazing job, while still paying homage to the greatest Tapper and Innovator of all time.
After watching this I realized there is hope for our kids ,the parents of this young man have done an excellent job in raising him
absolutely mind boggling how this doesn’t have millions of views. More talent/skill in his pinky toe than 98% of “artists” today
What can his pinky toe do?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@AlltheworldisafamilyHis pinky toe alone can probably play thunderstruck on two guitars at the same time
anybody can be like this guy with years of practice my guy. do you even play guitar? 😂😂 still great none the less. but there are plenty of "talented" people on yt just as good as this guy, or even better. but better is subjectivez
Smoke and mirrors
The fact that he broke out Eruption. That is confidence, and he nailed it too!!
There is NO WAY any of the kids there appreciated just how intricate that performance was man ........... HOLY F*CK! ROCK ON DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing this generation of kids with actual talent, and not just scratching records, honoring the music of my generation, gives me hope for the future.
Young man you have made the dreams of all of us old man who wished we could have done this! Keep on rocking!
That was tremendous young man! I’m sure your parents are really proud of you 😎👍🏻 don’t stop! Young Eddie Van Halen
I'm guessing his folks are just happy he's out of the house,, like they've only heard this 10,000 times
@@martyconroy3786þhe son of my is a guitar player tell me about it againagain and again
@martyconroy3786 as a parent, I never get tired of hearing my kid practice his instruments. He improves every day. I'd imagine some kids aren't fun to listen to. This dude is definitely not one of them, lol.
@@austin4x my parent's tolerance level was off the chain, listening to White Room 10,000 times...
I get it
Really I have no words as a guitarrist and kid that was completely awesome
Incredibly AWESOME!!! I’d go see him perform live!!!
There's no way his audience, except the teachers and parents, could appreciate what he just did. That was an awesome job! Long live rock and roll!
That’s real talent…. Phenomenal young man
I hate be that guy but it ain’t talent, it’s years of dedication
@@bruhbruh3642i hate to be that guy but the kid sucks and nothing he did was difficult to anyone whos actually put in effort to the guitar
As a old man guitar player I'm going to give you props and say I like the way that you did eruption but added your own style and chose the write notes to end on... Very well done sir I hope you have a long career enriched with music... Don't do drugs. LOL
Of course you do know who Joe satriani is right?
drugs will make u more artistic tho, just dont go overdosing
King Chad. Never thought I'd see him with mine own eyes, but I did. But legit, crazy levels of dexterity! Wicked man!
Seriously better than 90% of professionals since the history of rock. And he got plenty that night.
I actually got chills. That doesn’t happen very often, but when I hear true talent, my body just reacts
There's no paint left on any walls of any rooms this kid plays in!! Absolutely amazing!!
He just gained so much more respect. That Solo would have Eddie Van Halen, and Slash in amazement. Great Job. Man, you killed it ❤
Incredible guitar work and performance! I wish you all the best
The 80's are coming back around!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
Well done. Classic Eddie solo. You can shred
I’m a big advocate for music, especially in the rock department and this kid is very talented. As soon as he started doing the eruption solo we all love and enjoy it sent chills down my spine. Flawless!
Always be in tune. I started playing when I was 12 or so. I'm 48 now and play every day. It heals the soul. Keep it up. You rocked that!
Impressive. Talent. Can't wait to hear you when you hit it big. Good job!!!
This kid is wickedly talented!!! The audience didn’t realize just how good that performance was.
I am 57 years old now and grew up with Van Halen’s music, young man you just brought back a lot of great memories.
Thanks 🙏
"We're not worthy" Outstanding.
Ladies gentlemen and everyone in between that is what you call a holy shit or main character moment. Take your pick.
In actuality as a guitarist of 4 years now that was fucking sick!! Keep up the amazing work.
I'm so happy to see young kids still kicking ass on their instruments and playing rock & roll!
No one has a face left in that auditorium… he just melted them all off
Just to put this into perspective, this KID learned Eruption quite well I might add, his parts that were actually Eruption were clean and well played.
He did that then interwove it into his own interpretation and added his own chops.
Very well done young man!! 🤘🤘
I literally just heard the 70s 80s and the 90s of Metal Rock solo ALL IN ONE. Let me know if I missed a decade. OMG Yes
Dont be surprised, he was just using 0.00001% of his guitar god power.
Keep it up dude! You are a legend!
This kid has rock star written all over him!! Superb.
Not gonna lie.. that went WWWWAAAAYYY BETTER than I expected. In fact that was just fn AWESOME
How can someone so young have so much skill that is incredible well done mate 🏴🏴
Those dive bombs and sound effects at 3:44 - 3:53 were astoundingly amazing!
i come back to this video every now and again due to how good it is
Possibly the most dope part was the casual repositioning of glasses at 4:00 as if he were just taking a stroll
This kid has more skill and potential than most people I know who have been playing for longer than he’s been alive.
I’ve been playing for a year, and this is absolutely incredible
This young man can give the greatest guitar players a run for their money. Excellent job
Well that was one hell of an improv! Pentatonic along with EVH scale! Amazing job kid! Keep it up!
That was a display of the hours of finger bleeding practice in private totally paying off in public. BRAVO ! Young man BRAVO!
Flat out Awesome ! Very talented. 👍
I don't know any band that wouldn't snatch him up in a heartbeat. Great performance and very talented young man. Great job 👍
❤ That's exactly what I was saying. You was reading my mind. He plays like a master. It took EVH years to get it just right. This kid is so unbelievable that if you didn't know the song and who is the guitar God that played it, you would think he wrote it himself. Just WOW, WOW, WOW WOW.This young man is the definition of prodigy. ❤❤❤ Perfection!
That was sick!! Never stop playing!! 🤘🏻
This kid's an absolute wizard on the guitar!
I so love this...I've watched a few times and am more impressed each time I view. Does anyone else feel the urge to shake the kids nonchalantly walking past in the background and command them to give him their full attention? He so deserves it!
Great job kid! You made it your own! Horns held high!
as a talent show bombshell multiple times if i ever did anything 1/16 as cool as this my youth would have been complete
2:00: My man literally played a guitar like an AK-47 and it sounded epic as hell.🔥🔥🔥
That literally brought me to tears. That was unbelievable. A kid so young doing that so well just amazes me and leaves me awestruck. It was like how Jesus would play.
Absolutely shredding! That was incredible.
