Nice job on making rekeying these look easy (it's not). And I totally agree with you, GENUINE MulTLock cylinders are a good barrier to casual pickers. However, Buyer-Beware, There are some similar looking cylinders out there that even work with the same keys, BUT, The keyway is much wider and less paracentric (there's big gaps between the dips in the keyway profile). ...not to mention, some cheap knock-off cylinders have only standard pins. ...No Pin-In-Pin and No security pins (MulTLocks have Spools and Serated)

We have a lot of different manufacturers over here that make similar standard locks. In the Uk there are dedicated picks made for them by g j locks. But he will only sell to locksmiths if your interested

There about £180 but he now does a universal one you can make your own wires and tension key for but the dedicated ones are spot on

The silver head is for when you install the system & the blue is if it’s sold outright?

The blue plastic ended keys are the ones that come with thier own keycard as standard from the factory. You can order just the keys and card or Factory built Lock with keys and card. Either way, the card and key code is registered, so you can't get a lock made to a key without that card. If you've lost the card, the locksmith issues you with a new one with different bitting on the keys. As far as I know, the blank cards are for locksmiths to cut thier own bitting, but I think they still have to be registered with MulTLock. The keys without the blue plastic ends are locksmith blanks I think.
