I wish the Big12 would have jumped on that and made Friday nights an exclusive/semi exclusive deal. ONE game on Friday night isn't going to disrupt the high school football world. But it would get a lot of eyes on your conference.
PSU played Purdue two years ago to open the season on a Friday night. We also played Michigan State on Friday night on NBC last season as the final game. I'd argue the PSU/WVU game should be on Friday night.
Gotta love the narrative with the Oregon-Purdue comments…then raves about Utah-UCF as if it doesn’t have the same clunky feel of a weird conference game. But gotta stick up for the Big12 I guess.
Rutgers @USC will have an 11pm Eastern time kickoff. Nice. Utah @UCF is interesting on Thanksgiving weekend and apparently the Big XII didn't know the Utes rivals are Colorado and the team down south. Hell, even @ASU would have made more sense? Oh well, should be a good game? GO UTES!
Wow, this schedule looks almost as fun as staying home and picking my nose hairs out one by one. Literally, zero teams, have any chance of making the playoffs until you get to November 29.
Rutgers will shock the football world by going into the LA Coliseum and beating 11-time Nat Champ USC in their first ever meeting. Welcome to the B1G, trojan fans !
PSU opened Friday against Purdue on the road in 2022. We played MSU to finish the season on a Friday night on NBC last season. I wouldn't mind if PSU/WVU was scheduled for Friday instead of Big Noon. The biggest problem is that NBC and CBS feel like they were screwed by Fox last season so they're going to get more OSU/PSU/UM games this year which is only fair. That's the problem with having three broadcast partners plus the BTN which all need quality content.

The Big XII matchups are the best in this package. Also, the Mich St-Ore-Pur round-robin is in the Fri night slate.
Thats the thing, You are always going to get good big12 games. Its so competitive top to bottom you will never have an Ohio state v Rutgers game.
Friday nights with the PAC 12!
If the Fox brings back PAC-12 After Dark on Fridays that'd be a gold mine!
No surprise that OSU, UM, PSU and Wisconsin are spared from the Friday night slot in the first season.

I expected more Big12 games.....
But you have to save some for Saturday... Also share some with ESPN.
Rutgers going to suprise the world on Friday 🎉

Pretty much typical Big12 weekend
Let’s get the season rolling! Place your bets!
I guess we get to see TV ratings in Mountian Time Zone vs Pacific Time Zone and see how many fans on the east coast will stay up and watch.
Go Utes!

Why no Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn St.? No school should be exempt from friday night games, everyone does it or no one does it.

I agree with Paul. The two bookends Big 12 matchups are the two best of the while Friday night FOX lineup.
So many of these B1G games just look so wrong.
