Fans of teams need to get real. Winning six, seven, or eight games will be considered a good year. Nine games probably get you into the playoffs. The days of undefeated seasons are over.
I think this is often very true, but I am not sure we will ever see the days where fans are good with 6 or 7 wins. As a Wake Forest fan myself I have learned to love the 6 win season 😂
superUptightOverratedMario: had qb j. herbert at oregon & was winning boring, b1g-style games by 1 score w offensive (intended) point-totals in the 20s 🤯 🙄 . was tvd developed at mia.? mc is not upper-tier at player development & management nor at in-game coaching. what if mc didn't have the 'starting-on-3rd-base' advantage of being at a 'bag' progrum in the #1 hs fb recruiting region??? j. smith, and others, could do way more w/mc's 'first-world' resources than mc has, to-date. just bc a given coach came from the goober-bama 'coaching tree' (🙄) doesn't make said coach upper tier - esp. in the nil-portal era of cfb.
So many teams fans think they are going to win 11 games or they need to win 10 games but in this new era, 9 SEC wins probably gets you into the playoffs. 8-4, 7-5 is still a good year. 6-6, still gets you into a bowl game. 12 SEC teams are going to get their feelings hurt every year until the playoffs expand further. Except for Georgia, Texas, LSU, every other SEC team is sucking hind tit.
They are just flipping home and away schedules next year (2025), so even if he goes 5-7/6-6, they should keep him. FSU will go backwards after losing most of their squad again Texas is going to be at UF Ole Miss losing everybody Tennessee at home. Miami loses their entire group I can see him go 6-6 if he knocks somebody off, but the next year he could go 9-3. However if it were me, I'd fire him and hire Lane Kiffin after he goes 11-2, or 12-2 this year at Ole friggin Miss.

Not a USC. Fan in any way. But those fans need to be real. Going to big 10. 7-5 is about right. They need a couple years to build and adjust
Miami lifer here. 9-3. At worst. But anything under 10-2. Is a disappointment! And shit went REAL wrong, and ton of injuries
Totally agree. This is a season we need to see Miami put it all together and make some noise.
Until Usc shows improvement on the los. I see them going 7 and 5.
