      @ Juan Arce, It has been my experience over many decades, that male acquitances will rarely initiate seeking your opinion, but they will ask for it when they tire of the woman in their life repeatedly commenting on your dress style. But they are not compliments, they are gently nagging that the female in your life expects you to act on. But I have never found that any male resented the advice that I gave them when it was simply based on facts, not personal criticism. Phil.

    Good grooming
    Good clothes with a good fit and appropriate to the situation , looking like you care.
    An air of confidence with with who you are
    Gives the expensive look.
    Big brands without the above, makes a look of overcompensating

    • @londonjetsfan
      @londonjetsfan 3 роки тому

      Just a word of warning regarding those tan brogues.
      Using Loake’s own tan coloured leather cream will seriously darken the original light tan colour of your shoes, leaving them closer to a light brown colour.
      This is something to keep in mind if you want to keep the original colour, especially if you don’t need another pair of brown shoes.

    Agreed on the blue and gray pants. They are kind of like my business uniform and I like to have different shades and patterns. I recently took all of my jeans back to my tailor since I lost a few more pounds and got in better shape this year. He tapered them more and got the length to that sweet spot right at the top of the shoe. I live in Pennsylvania so I am all about the layering in the fall and winter!

    Well, some of the thing you mentioned look expensive ONLY when they're expensive. No watch look expensive unless the other person knows it's an expensive watch like Rolex and others. So, if you want to look expensive but can't afford a 10K watch, go without.
    Jackets. Well, it's not a completely different story here. To find a really good jacket that fits you well on a budget is one hell of a challenge.
    One tip I'd give - buy expensive, high quality, nice fitting cloth, but utilise sales. Sometimes one can find like 70% off.

    Totally agree with everything you said, first I’ll go by the white pans… not everybody can wear them… watches look good in man where the combination of the shirt and pans, but prefers cheap watch like Seiko couture, invicta instead of the Rolex, also there is a Citizen Ecco drive, there is a color, I like the stain steels brazalete in gold of silver it doesn’t matter the face color… the shoes agree also, not the brant but have to be clean and always cause good attention and expensive… not everybody can afford a personality and stylist like that, finally the color, sometimes the color used is not appropriate for adult and it made us look ridiculous… black and white is always accepted

    I really enjoyed this video. As a pastor (messenger) I have always tried to present message and messenger as attractively as possible (color/style coordinates even down to my underwear, haha). I was pleased to see a couple of outfits I wear being worn by you. One thing I have problems with is the pocket square. I can usually do the presidential or “puff” style, but I haven’t done very well with the three pointed style you have in this video. BTW I have found Addis golf pants to be both stylish and comfortable. I pair mine (30/30] with a nice shirt and v neck sweater and a nice pair of loafers. Thanks for all your suggestions

    Is Viscose fabric suitable to wear in hot weather? My Plaid Trousers are a Bay Blue color made of Polyester and Viscose so truly curious. When I researched it everything pointed out to it being able to wick away moisture and possibly keeping you cooler than Cotton in some ways. Love your content! Honestly I'm one of your younger viewers but not too far from 40. I comment once in awhile but when I happen to reach that number I'll start watching more religiously for sure. I grew tired of certain garments so have been upgrading to look more professional yet still relaxed. Maybe I missed it, however for a semi-casual or light dress look that isn’t too over or under-dressed, I like classic colors like maroon, forest green, khaki, and royal blue.
