I’m confident my hobbies helped me during the hardest time of my life! One hobby, knitting, has even turned into a side gig and has widened my social and support circle while also letting me be creative.
I’ve been crocheting off and on since I was 3 years old, and not feeling like doing a yarn craft today is a big sign that something is wrong inside me.
I’m an artist, so drawing and painting are very relaxing and uplifting for me, especially when I get to do artwork with my friends. I agree that having a creative outlet helps with burnout. Also, it was so cute how Lemon kept trying to get your attention while you were coloring ❤
See, my problem is that I love all of my hobbies too much and neglect my schoolwork because of it. Then, I give myself burnout because I focused on the fun things first and have to scramble to write papers or study for tests 😮💨😓
@@AbbeyHowe I highly recommend it! I can’t speak on Harvest Moon bc I never got to play, but it’s definitely similar to Animal Crossing, just with more humans and adult jokes 😂
I spend some quality time with my car at the car wash. I love detailing the outside of my car, but loathe detailing the inside. Hmm... Is this a reflection of my views about myself? I enjoy pampering the outside of my body (nails, hair, skin, etc), but don't care as much about the inside (nutrition, mental health). 🤔
That sounds like it’s your way of taking care of yourself!! (Although would highly recommend more mental health pampering!!) thanks for sharing what you do ♥️

I love how supportive you and Jon are of each other. Also, how is Lemon so FRICKING CUTE?????????
I ask myself that question EVERY SINGLE DAY

As a 9w8, “Easy & Cozy” is my love language….
Because otherwise, “Stressed & Pissed” is the other option. 😂

I’ve been playing Stardew Valley nonstop lately XD. Have you played it yourself?
I haven’t played it yet!! But I’ve heard so many good things about it!
