You have a nice set-up.....well organized and pleasant. My 25 birds from Recreational Homestead are growing fast and doing great at 5 weeks old. Just put them in the coop and chicken yard. Best chickens I ever had....Chase Washburn does a super good job.
Thank you much sir.
Yes I agree with the 10% rule when getting chickens only 10% are good enough to keep for breeders But with the chickens I got from Chase I had a good 50% easy.
@@papawsplace May I ask, at what age do you process your chickens? And do you finish them for a couple of weeks on milk soaked grain? I used milk soaked cracked corn last year and had a fairly good result.
I've been experimenting at different ages but I think 16 to 18 weeks is the sweet spot.
I've never used milk other than when I started out trying powder milk.
Then I experimented using one teaspoon of the cheapest butter to one cup of chopped corn for 2 weeks 4 weeks and 6 weeks, the butter put the fat on them.
Now I trying just chopped corn for 6 weeks and see how these next few turn out.
@@papawsplace Thank you....I may try the butter too since I don't have a cow or goat for milk.
Hear is the first time / video I used the Butter. ua-cam.com/video/oIrdJPNBoTw/v-deo.html

Thank you Mr. Tom and Ms. Judy.
It turned out way better than it started out for me, that's for sure.
Thank you for taking us along for your experiment with the hydroponic gardening. We are growing grenade squash (Hoss) and it was done well. Have a great day Mr Eddie!
They were doing so good but today the Celebrity Plus doesn't look so well. I think the nutrients may be getting to hot, Not sure what's happening. LOL
Chase has the best Bresse chicks worth every penny
I agree.
Good morning neighbor! Looking really great!
Thank you sir!
Hey Eddie we love the birds eye view. We are planning a trip to see Lippy and Buddy around October and would like to see yawl as well. Your garden is doing great. We got over and inch of rain last night and the temps are cool. What a good year. Rabbits and chickens are looking good. God bless yawl.
Maybe it will work out that we can meet up in Oct.
That rain made it over this way yesterday afternoon.
Chase is a handsome fella
Getting prettier every day.
I had the same problem with my fig tree this year too!! I have hit it twice with Alaska fish emulsion fertilizer, very diluted, but I swear it has been wonderful for my fig tree!!! It is now deep green and COVERED in baby figs!! Give it a try!! We love all your videos! And the tomatillos are looking great too!! Looks like we’re both going to have lots of fruits from these this season!!
I gave the fig tree a little liquid fertilizer so maybe it will recover.
Thank y'all for all the views and comments.
Yes, I think I'm gonna have enough tomatillos for Sharon to make her some green salsa for sure.
You call it a female. !!! Some may call it a them or they! Nice chicks my friend! I get screwed up also with ages that’s why I wrote it down! I got 27 eggs from Madelyn due June 14. So excited!! Yes chase has the best!
The problem for me is, I never look at my notes before I start a video. LOL
@@papawsplace Madelyn sent me 52 eggs dam post man dropped box twice by my garage 25 eggs in garbage I could have cried. Candled yesterday 25 going good 2 no good. Air sac were all bad I nursed 25 of them back so far

Looking at the radar, I think we are about to get it in the next little while.
Another great Video! Thanks for discussing the plant varieties and your evaluation. What gardening videos do you watch? I enjoy: Lazy Dog Farm, Hoss, Veggie boys, Branch Lick farm, and Epic Gardening. Take care and be safe...
I like my man, Travis! But I watch old HOSS some also.
Garden looks great
I wish mine looked that good
Paint that bucket black, but I can’t do anything hydroponic without a pump
I watch Deep South, pecan grove , Hoss , Travis , epic gardening , permaculture consultant, papaw , Ms lippy
I did the same thing with my fig tree in a tub
Not sure what I'm gonna do with that fig tree.
