Finishing first doesn’t mean that you’ve done a better job. Great things can at times take time. I like our trackless Talanta stadium, something that other East African nations won’t realise they needed until the tournament is done. Take your time and do it right
Each stadium is inspected not only on finishing timely, but also finishing according to the required standards. So, when CAF say a particular stadium in Tanzania is qualified it means it was completed on time, and it meets standards. For Kenya it means it means the stadiums have not bee completed on time, and/or do not yet meet the required standards

I think currently what lacks in Kenya is a passion for football among its populace that is in Tanzania. Our Government matches that energy with building infrastructures to sustain the passion we have for the sport. I am old enough to remember Gor Mahia from Kenya in the early 90s, don't know where this team is right now but football in Kenya has fallen behind in international representation and I guess locally too and consequently that passion people had in football died as well.
We cannot even build Stadiums after 62 years of independence yet we call ourselves the most developed country in East Africa. Every thing we do is political.

They said maintaining a bigger stadium is costly and that there are fewer events to fill it. However, I find this argument quite funny.

Finishing first doesn’t mean that you’ve done a better job. Great things can at times take time. I like our trackless Talanta stadium, something that other East African nations won’t realise they needed until the tournament is done. Take your time and do it right

Each stadium is inspected not only on finishing timely, but also finishing according to the required standards. So, when CAF say a particular stadium in Tanzania is qualified it means it was completed on time, and it meets standards. For Kenya it means it means the stadiums have not bee completed on time, and/or do not yet meet the required standards

I think currently what lacks in Kenya is a passion for football among its populace that is in Tanzania. Our Government matches that energy with building infrastructures to sustain the passion we have for the sport. I am old enough to remember Gor Mahia from Kenya in the early 90s, don't know where this team is right now but football in Kenya has fallen behind in international representation and I guess locally too and consequently that passion people had in football died as well.
