I can wait !!! Im currently in miami but im a about to go to training to the army reserves to become a certified surgical tech then move to the west coast closer to year end. Im partially scared because everyone i know is on the east but i feel i need to take this step

i want to move so bad but im from the east coast and so scared to not be around trees lol! and just leaving this side of the country completely...but the idea of being around all the entertainment is enough to make me want to at least try!
I totally understand what you mean, moving across the country is intimidating. The good thing is I specialize in relocation so I could find you a neighborhood that reminds you of home with tons of pretty trees!
All you’ll see are the same four red rocks. They don’t like outsiders here at all. Lot of drug problems with a lot of people here. Womanizers and the like live here very well. Hookup culture, so good for single people who want that but kinda bad for couples and you definitely won’t find a quality person if you try to date. It’s pure filth. After five years I’ve had enough.

I wanted to try something new, so I moved to Vegas with a “friend” then ending up having to abruptly leave so I went to Idaho for awhile to get some “small town vibes” but my mind changes a lot and I’m thinking about moving back to Vegas to potentially train, MMA since it’s like the home of training martial arts, and UFC fighters.
Life is all about failing forward. Seems like you're great at following your gut. Let me know if I can help you find housing in any way.
Great video. Moved from Long beach back in Nov '21. You're absolutely correct about NW (Centennials Area). nice house and more affordable than Summerlin, BUT not much out there. I usually go to Summerlin to get my hair cut, restaurants, and chill at RED ROCK (i think it's the best casino outside the strip).

Do apartments usually require 1st, last, and security or just 1st and security?
First and security, typically. I'm not 100% sure as real estate agents in NV are not allowed to help with apartments, by law. Only home rentals and sales

Im 26 and I still live with my parents lol (By Choice). I'm planning to move in henderson once I get a good job, not sure if there is "IT" I have no Bachelors and I do have some experience. I am 6'2 Salvadorian and Leaving SoCal especially in LA would be tackling. I love to talk to Mexican girls and IDK if there is lots over there in vegas lol.

A casino job is probably the EASIEST to get in town. They do pay very well and give tons of benefits.

What about the bugs and scorpions? Are they bad and common? I hate bugs 😂😭
In the 3 years I've lived here I have never seen a scorpion. Additionally, when you buy a house you are allowed to do a termite/ bug inspection on the property😁
There are definitely bugs like now that we are in springtime we have moths and grasshoppers around. Also, be careful with some random wild animals, there were coyotes and rattlesnakes coming into the city.
I heard on a news story recently a little girl got sick because there was a tiny small scorpion inside her pool Aditya had bitten her. She had to get sent to the hospital but made it back in I think 2 days .

@Kristina Alexa yes and no. I have three kids, 10, 7, and 3. From what you have seen, is Henderson ok for kids to grow up? I need something between busy Los Angeles and boring Kentucky....2 places that I have lived in.
Well yes, Henderson is actually #14 best places to raise a family in the country! Year over year they're always in the top 20 from multiple sources.

There are many homeless people and women that dress exposed that go on cars so I'm sure it is out there. News say meth gets transported into Vegas, lots of it have been caught coming into the city. The Homeless are drug addicts so I wouldn't be surprised if many people here sell drugs. You can't even walk around here.

Absolutley, you have an abundance of opportunities waiting for you here. Our arts district and downtown area are HUGE on music and performing arts.
