Looking at the math though this is a long term commitment, before it becomes profitable. 6,450,000 initial investment, then generates 250,000 per day, will take 26 days to make back the initial investment.

But you can do anything else and gaining fame and active income while gathering the resource to fill up the journal, that is why it called passive income
Well it would take 26 days if that was you’re only form of profit. But it’s not. If you add all the money you gain from other activities. Then you recoup that money back and then it’s all profit from there.

Great video! I’ve only been playing about three weeks but my island is tier five. I’ve just started a second character so I’ll probably do what you’ve done here with my second character and leave the island as I’ve set it up on my original one. I got some great tips and realised where I went wrong with my first character so thank you ❤
You can use both islands if you give the account you play on now Co-owner to the other island! So now you can have 2 to work with!😎

Nice and clear, good stuff. I've been wanting to buy more islands with a new acc, so I don't know if I just give it a 30day premium, buy an island and give ownership to my main or I need to do all the building and upgrade on the new one.

That sounds like a good plan! You can also give the accounts 7 days of premium to get the personal island bought and set up! I did not mention that in the video👍
Overall a great idea on your part to build the income for sure, even if you just use farms👌🤟
Make sure you have generalist journals equipped when doing your farming as they fill off those.
Fishing journals, unlike other gathering journals which are the level or 2 above of that journal type gathered, fish is just flat fish gathered. T7 fishing journals give a very good return for the cost to fane needed to fill them, though you won't be able to use them without a T7 fishing labourer.

Maybe you'll need this tip but you can click the board on the building from the inside. There's no need to go outside for that.

Awesome content and easy to follow instructions too. Unfortunately, I fell into the trap of building up to T5 Stonemason, Lumbermill and others on my Personal Island. Now I'm wondering if it's going to be worth taking the big initial losses of Demolishing them all and begin building a new housing estate instead? :D
I 100% recommend breaking them down and putting down houses! It will only increase your passive income for the future!😁
Also you get 90% resource return rate on demolished buildings, so it's not like you are losing all invested materials, just 10%.

Great video just one thing, thought mercs were next to useless considering the return. At least most ppl agree on that and most video advise using gatherers over mercs. Unless I'm mistaken you could be making a lot more off gatherers than mercs.
You are on the right track Sheldon! There are Laborers that are much more efficient than Mercs. A couple reasons I chose to do mercs for this video.
1. They are the cheapest to set up regarding trophies
2. I only do combat on my Account at this time so gathering would be out of my way for passive income
3. I am still testing a lot of things with Laborers and just happen to put mercs for this one and if I find out any tested information that can make us more money I will make an updated video as soon as possible! 😎

@@ProfessorScythe You shouldn't worry about filling journals personally for the labourers. Rather, it is better to just buy the filled journals on the market and use the most profitable labourers.
@@josephfernando4843 I am learning more about them as we go, but yes this is a very good point... I was just filling journals because I do a lot of combat anyways but I have since switched from mercs to try other actually profitable laborers!😎
What are the best laborers?
Depends on market, changes all the time. Best to price check and whichever fits your playstyle and allows u to fill journals you have rhe quickest

I am currently sitting at around 81 t5 imbuers and i want to go to 96 soon but i lack cash, and 6 farm plots for starters.
Now one thing that i could have and maybe should have tested are the prospector trophy journals, the trophies themselves are expensive as duck so it might be worth it who knows. not on a constant basis tho, but like once a week or sum.
I'm at 102 imbuers rn and i make about 400k silver per day from them and about 60k from the farm plots

I have an island i never thought to see if i could place more houses and now i kniw u can i'll do it and get those labourers to as for me every bit of silver i can get helps as i die a lot.
I have been working towards purchasing more islands with my alts and you CAN purchase just a weeks worth of premium for about $5 to get you islands going. I then got a few friends into the game and we got a guild island going on one of my alts so we can still use the island but join a more put together guild and we have just been building it up so we dont have to pay the city prices.
Very nice! Just remember though that some buildings on the island will not have the refining bonuses like some of the cities so you will not be gaining as much money on refining! Sometimes building prices in city are worth paying based off the resource return rate!!😁
@@ProfessorScythe Very true, we've been paying attention to the daily crafting bonuses as well as the city bonuses and have been focusing on those items to craft and then we do transport runs and sell our goods in other cities

I know you said to focus on one laborers but is it bad to have different one? I am planning to become a farmer that comes with being a chef too and for now im focusing on lumberjacking. is it better to focus on one for now or I can have different but it wont be good or something?
You can honestly switch it up however you want when you get comfortable with it! There are not laborers for cooking so you can farm and do lumberjacks for sure!😎

As a hideworker which one should I pick?
Ive seen alot of the things say "need x days of premium" does that mean u had to have previously bought a month of it and youre good, or is that "x days REMAINING" of premium? I have been trying to get into albion but worry about how in-your-face the premium is, is it like eso, or is it a bit more lax?
For islands all you need is “7 Days of premium” and then the personal island will be unlocked on that account! You do not need to keep premium after that to have it. All premium does in this game is boost progression, but you can still do all types of the content in game without it!😎

Hi, im pretty new to Albion and recently bought premium. Im following your guide but im confused on the farming a little. My daily watering costs are currently 1000 focus. each. The question I have is how do I get more farming focus?
You get 10k(10000) focus per day!
The more you farm, the more focus efficient you will get! As for getting more focus, you only get 10k focus per day with premium and max you can hold is 30k focus.

You can give ANY Laborer generalist journals, but they are going to bring back generalist trophies which are not worth anything on the market. You can use different types and fill them to make profit off the laborers!😎

How would you do this with now 2 islands, with there being one with the mists one, bouncing in-between and trying to maximize focus, this would be a great video and help to alot of us I think.

@@ProfessorScythe its tough i stick with one crop since its lower focus that and raise horses is pretty much what i run, but i seldom have any focus every other day or so, i just am notnsure how efficient i am being
ive been farming carrots til now, tried wheat then boom significantly more profit than carrots

Keeping a ledger on Market prices Will help you big
for example im a cooker, my island is on caerlon, isnt it more worth it to have full houses but with a couple buildings for crafting?
If it isnt worth crafting in town due to prices then island is good, but if the prices are decent you want the resource return rate!😁
I wish they oficially distributed the game to other countries, 12 dollars is quite a lot of money in many places overseas. They usually have good deals but is not worth it for anyone outside Europe ou north America. Also the ping is pretty high. Im enjoying playing the game but my experience could be a lot more. Thank you for the guide.

Qq: considering I have t6 houses & t5 workers (so mainly buying t4 or t5 books), what would be the most profitable laborers? Considering I'll be buying the books, instead of filling them..
If we are talking about the most profitable Laborer when buying the books, unfortunately you may be losing profit on this.
If you are trying to save time maybe do mercenary’s and fill up their books by running dungeons with the books on you. Mercenary’s are not the best Laborer but easiest to do.
If you do any type of crafting or gathering I highly recommend you do laborers that match your activity and fill books that way. You just miss out on rewards when having to use the money for buying filled books.

When I started out, solo dungeons and setting up islands for passive income! Then from there I would use that income for budget sets to run BZ content for better loot! Now I have enough silver to run better sets when roaming open world!

Theres no. Any farming method is waste of silver now. Even with premium.
What about using guild island instead of personal if you don’t have premium? Like making own guild and making that big house and setting labourers in it?

what if u dont do gathering? and ive heared mercenary journals are the worse. how do i fill journals then?
Mercenaries only bring back silver and their trophies are low profit to sell! You can either buy journals for your laborers or do generalist journals for them to level them up to either
1. Sell their contract on the market at T5+
2. Get them to a higher level to give journals too!
its starting to seem that if you do not gather that generalist journals for the laborers and selling the actual laborers is better profit!

I've leveled up imbuer, Fletcher, fisherman, blacksmith up to level 5 by buying journals and after that level lvl 5 journal is too expensive for me to continue and i don't know if or even if i can sell the labourer. In total i feel like I've lost more then gain. Still don't know what im doing wrong.
@@udespair4879 You are able to pick up the laborer at any Tier and sell them on the market! I am testing Blacksmith and other laborers currently!
In my guild island passive income video, this is the method I use:
1. Put down T2 Laborer in a the T5 Guild hall with all furniture and trophies up to tier 5
2. Feed them Generalist trophy journals that I either buy or fill myself during my adventures(since they fill with any fame and fill fast)
3. Sell them on the Market at T5, Rinse, and repeat!

I like islands, but I don't have the time to take care of 100 islands+laborers daily like some people. I'm perfectly fine with a single personal island.

what is the reason for getting more than one laborer? so they share a level?
They do not share levels, the more laborers you have the more you can use to increase your profit yields! Each house can hold a max of 3 when leveled to T5+ and you want to have 3 to make more profit when giving them journals!

You get 7 days premium for a 4.95 package deal.. That's all you need for island, so they must've changed it since you made this video.. Just an FYI. They also changed things since swollenbenji did his beginners vid in March.. They must've watched it, guild islands now nearly a million silver. You can't pack enough rough stone off tutorial island to pay that fee.. but I tried could've had a nice nap in time it took getting to ship

The detail relies on "if you have a full upgraded island", that take so much effort and silver. this is just for late game, BUT: you can make more than 300k (y)

Good clear explanation, but I don't think it's good advice and use of time (mercenary laborers and books) or focus (until you have near 100 plant spec).
You can use different Laborers for sure! (mercenary laborer needs a rework). As for focus, I have not been crafting or refining on the account so I only use my focus for watering my plants. Using focus here is for increasing the income your personal island generates. I agree there are better uses for focus though until it can be not so expensive to water plants.
it's very good for someone who spends their time only doing solo DGs or fame farming in open world
To be clear. You are saying 4 farms plots and the rest houses (of a fully upgraded island).
Are mercs the most profitable? Compared to?
4-5 Farming plots, using focus on herbs or any farming crops and if you don’t want to deal with getting journals for the crafting/gathering Laborers then Mercs are your best bet for passive income even though it is not substantial, it is still passive income😎

@@JW-wr4ep They do not bring back crops, the laborers bring back what is specific to them by you giving them a full journal of their type and they go out for 22 hours and come back with supplies
Example: A Lumberjack will bring back wood up to the tier that he is
A blacksmith will bring back supplies relevant to its type of crafting

I am not sure on the exact value needed to set up all house and farms but it does cost roughly 6.75m to get a personal island fully upgraded and from there it will generate the income if you tend to it everyday!😁

Yeah filling journals can be a hassle for sure! Sometimes just selling the contracts and using generalist journals can be a side profit!
Dude, first of all, thank you so much for the idea in general and the overall direction shown in your 'walkthrough'! I mean it.
However, after watching this video, I have more questions than answers:
1. The part about the house tiers remains unclear - do house tiers affect laborers' output or efficiency in general? I got the part about 3 laborers but that's not what I'm asking about.
2. Are all of your laborers mercs, or have you hired skill-centered workers?
3. The part with their books remains a bit unclear still. I sort of understood what to do, but it's better to see it done step by step.
4. Do laborers staying in all those houses work on the farms, or farms and laborers are two different unrelated things?
Finally, the part about income. Without the actual conversion of something into silver shown, it is difficult to apprehend it.
It seems like you were trying to make the video under 20 mins... I do not want to seem like a hater. Once again, thank you so much for the work! I would only like to ask for a follow-up video with a proper explanation of the points I outlined above. I'm seriously thinking about my island as well but it is still murky waters to me.

You can move it to another city yes, just make sure to clear everything off of your current island first.
