more or less what i've been doing. been gathering/crafting since i started a couple months ago and around T5+ progress really slows down hard unless you make smart use of high tier gathering armor and tools, salads/pies, study with focus, premium, and good gathering rotations. You also get more fame for gathering enchanted nodes so its almost always worth grabbing them if you see them, especially for blue or purple enchants. Another smart thing to do is flag up for your city's faction ASAP so you can get free faction points and extra fame while farming. Lastly, there are sometimes random special nodes that pop up around maps that you can see as a "high quantity" or something on your mini map, and they can be gathered like 30 times and are usually enchanted but they can be gathered by anyone so first come first serve.
This is all amazing information! A lot of this was not included in the video as I do want it to get to long! In the future if I put together an ADVANCED refining guide I will be including all of the tip to maximize the efficiency of gathering and refining! I hope you enjoyed the video!😎
Hi, did you buy premium with your gathering and crafting? I myself gather stone and craft them, idk if its profitable i really need some solid and frankly help
Thanks for the vid as always, really informative but I would like to point this one out since the video is for newer players who wants to refine. I suggest that if they brought enough t2 and t3 mats, they should refine the flat mats first before the .3 to upgrade their refining skills better so that the .3 refines costs less focus. I'm pretty new (2mons playing) as well so I'm not so sure about this so correct me if I was wrong.
dudeeee so glad I checked this video. The amount of ressource i wasted to far is crazy high hahaha but hey now I know best tips video ive seen so far thanks!
Yeah, a lot of people control the stations in the cities and makes it harder to do things! I have been using guild islands or personal and put the station I need on there if it is totally not worth it to use the ones in town!🥸
While the RRR in town is nice, at 9999 tax it can be profitable to use an island tied to the city that still gets an (albeit reduced RRR). You still need to feed it so there is a fee (we'll say 1500 per 100 nutrition for example), but if the material is not valuable enough for the returned items to pay for the taxes, island craft away. I'm considering working with a friend to put an island at each of the main 6 cities just to keep the RRR without dealing with tax shenqnigans.
ProfessorScythe at timestamp 5:21 you say that the bag helps to reduce the weight of raw and refined resources but it actually only reduces the weight of the raw resources. just to avoid any confusion.
Your estimated bag contents price went from 1.25mil to 1.52mil. Then it seems pretty worth it to buy raw materials on the marketplace and refine them by yourself, doesn't it? Even with tax and refining payments, you're up at least 200k every time you do this whole thing.
@@ProfessorScythe I did it today, I bought all the ingredients you did in this video. It cost me around 1.34mil and I sold it for about 1.45mil. It took like 1h to sell all of it after refining, but 100k is 100k, so I guess it's a nice way to level up fame, meanwhile making some money
What i do is load up a grizzly bear and buy order T2 cotton and go refine it and sell it in lym or bridgewatch it depends on the price and i make about 100k ish in like 30 minutes so yeah that’s how I refine and i only refine fibre + awesome video just like always 🫡♥️
I appreciate you sharing your strategy to make some silver! Refining is an interesting area that can make a lot of profit for sure! Thank you for the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed the video!😁
So im unsure which resource to collect and refine. I been collecting and refining wood, and metal mostly. Sometimes fiber and hide. I just cant seem to decide what to put all my focus on. I dont like pvp and a little into pve not by much. Its mostly crafting and refining. Im stuck with tools of T4 and its hard to grind to go to 5. But what do i focus on?
Hi there nice video i want to ask if refining is profitable in short term(like in 1 month) and how much silver i should invest to level up my skill tree to get decent profit
It is refining if you do it in cities with best return rates and transport to city it sells better! That is the extent of the tips I can give but in the future I will personally be doing my own testing and sharing!😁
Possible, yes. But really inefficient. You're better off rushing your first premium. He has a video on black zone solo dungeon farming. I recommend you do that to get premium and build some silver, then transition into gathering and refining using focus.
In Martlock with the refining bonus for hides would be the best place! But you still don't get the full bonus as the Martlock city so you need to calculate how much you are spending at the refining stations vs your island!
okay so how about buying the materials instead of gathering, lets say I want to refine fiber, where do I buy these materials and then where would I sell them once they are refined?
You would buy them from the city player market for whatever city you are in! I recommend going to one that has fiber zones near it so it is cheaper in town due to how many gatherers bring it there to sell then transport it to the city with the 40% fiber bonus when you refine!😁
Kinda dumb that game went for "resource return" instead of "bonus yield". Effects is the same but you wouldn't need to click this pay button so many times
They do not, they are locked to the City. There are some bonuses that rotate under the Activities tab -> Daily bonuses, sometimes you can catch extra refining bonuses to get more returns!😁
A lot of people do refining in the game! It is a very statistics heavy profession though if you want to make big profits at the later levels! I hope you enjoyed the video!😁

Correct, mass level and then it will cost less focus which = more profit

they gotta do something about people spamming 9999 tax its bs and its too many ppl doing it

FINALLY OMG!
IT IS HERE!!!!😁
After I refine hide in Martlock where do I sell all of it?
Best place is somewhere that has no skinning, so Fort Sterling most likely would be my best guess!😁
Finally a good guide
there are salads that have crafting quality bonuses - does this apply also on refining or only when crafting gear&items ?
The speed increase will apply to refining and gear crafting.
The quality bonuses ONLY applies to gear crafting not refining!😁

which is better. refining on island or market
island doesn't give faction based bonuses so i guess always on market
Its worth to make this with all the materials?
It can be in bulk, but stating out profits will be very low!
