Went through 5 guides until coming across yours. Other ones just focused on "get this gear, go there" not explaining anything. This really helped me as a totally new player.
I created the video with people like you in mind, so I'm very happy to hear it was helpful. A lot of other creators don't do a great job of giving context to their advice, so that's the niche I want to be able to fill for the community.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love me a good corrupted dungeon; but gathering once tiered up is very good, consistent money. Dungeon loot is based on RNG - with gathering, only your yield procs are RNG. Everything else depends on how good you are at choosing the right zone and picking the right areas in that zone to gather. Plus, learning how to escape while gathering will translate to knowing when to book it from a fight you won't win!
Also every youtuber : we don't know if you will survive in dungeons This dude : no risk easy money and the money keeps on increasing the higher level you are
The trick is getting to t8 asap so you can get the t8 tools then you find an area that is loaded with resources like a t6 or t7 zone with minimal gankers and resources that are mostly full ticks. Then focus one resource at one level because the higher the spec the faster you will gather. Once your spec is high you can clear a whole forest of trees in 20 minutes where without the spec you might need 2 or even 3 times the amount of time to collect the same amount of resources. For example i can gather a stack of t6 wood in under 30 minutes at 80 spec. This is over 1m/hr if you are filling journals and it is not a rare resource. This is why i recommend using LP to spec up the higher gathering skills (t7 and t8) because the faster you gather the more you can make and the less you will die.
This was very pleasing guide, and i like how you explain honestly, you are first albion youtuber that isnt annoying but very interesting to listen lol i get annoyed when ppl in yt start chewing munching paausing etc here u knew what u talked about so thank you for this guide
when i started playing albion, a couple months ago, i watched this video and this don't make any sense. But Now, even one year after the upload date, This video helps A LOT. thaks mate.

Great guide. The only thing I can really think of to add to this is.. if there are two nodes within your mount radius that you can reach, it’s good to get in the habit of bringing your mount to the 2nd node anyway. You typically don’t want to run at all to hop on your mount.
Really great video. We as viewers see that you are putting out quality good suggestions and help us get better. That is what will make me come back. I want to learn and get better.

I am sad that there isnt another video on your channel on a different topic, like all around farming or crafting and stuff. Really liked it indepth and stuff. wow thanks for that, I've been too afraid to venture back into red zones after a sad first attempt a while back but I found your video and now I'm going to give it another go
Best of luck! Always remember the golden rule - never leave town with more than you can afford to lose! Keep some sets ready in your bank so if you do get ganked, you can get right back at it. Really helps to save you from getting put into a negative mindset when you have full sets ready and waiting in the bank.
Finally! Your guide is so well made, it explains everything to top to bottom about gathering. It really helped me understand more about the subject, if you are new to gathering just like me this is the perfect guide. -keep up the quality content:)
Heyo just watched your video the other night. Thank you for bringing so much insight with this content! I look forward to digging more into what you got! You really helped me step up my goals and wishes for Albion! 🙌🏾🔥
I appreciate you showing yourself get squashed by like 9 people. This happened to me the other day and, honestly, I'm not even mad at that. Out in the Black Zone, this hardly happens and I dont consider it the norm. I watched this video like 3 times and I find this quite helpful!
I know I'm late to the party, but I have a tip for the roads. The mistcougars and direwolves there have a very high chance of dropping cubs. It's a good "consolation prize" if you're not finding any good nodes.
I focus on getting as much material variety possible. Fill up those storage chests. Mass produce with whatever you can carry. Sell any scraps left from recycling ♻️ materials (recruiting until you cannot) and repeat process. You also have option to upgrade literally every city bank. Make use of those for emergencies
Add the Gallant Horse and Frost Ram as best mounts for gathering and this is still viable today. Invis from spectral boars won't save you from gankers group, only solo, CC immunity will help you prevent when you're cornered.
I'm just starting Albion Online after moving away from Wow due to the cost to play. At least with Albion I can play free to play and get most of the game content. This guide was very helpful in learning how the gathering system works and how the economy works overall.
You have to work your way up to it. You learn basic gathering T1/2 in the tutorial, keep doing it for T3, then get T4, then T5, so on. Use Learning Points to get to the next tiers.
