Sound on! I have taken a new spy video of the next generation Aston Martin Vanquish for 2025 during some hot laps on the Nürburgring. The new 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish will be revealed by the end of this year and replaces the Aston Martin DBS.
Some scenes in this video show the mule of the new Vanquish, with the camouflaged new front and the current DSB rear end and some clips reveal the full disguised Vanquish prototype.

Aston Martin Vanquish : V12 5.2 twin-turbo 835 PS RWD Torque-converter 8 speed
Ferrari 12 Cilindri : V12 6.5 naturally aspirated 830 PS RWD Dual-clutch 8 speed
BMW 420d: I4 2.0 turbo 190 PS RWD torque converter 8 speed
Ferraris engine is a gem
The thing here is that the Aston Martin V12 biturbo has tons of torque and will have easier upgrades with ecu tune.
On the other hand that Ferrari v12 revs to the heaven and it’s amongst god tier engines.
Is the new twin-turbocharged V12 Aston Martin Vanquish going to rev all the way up to 9000 RPM, just like an F1 racing car?

Nice, one of the two cars in the video had nice glowing brakes at one point.
No point in having a V12 if it sounds like a V6 Turbo. But the exhaust is also something they can conceal when testing.

It's similar to the 812. Big V12 in the front.

Looks very much inspired by the Valour and current Vantage. I'm sure this thing will look awesome once the camo comes off!

If you can afford this car, you don't care about depreciation. If you always use your head to buy cars, just buy Toyota or Porsche.
aston martin is what mercedes should aim for… id just never pay aston prices for an aston
The new Vanquish is powered by an evolution of 5.2 liter twin-turbo V12 of the DB11 and DBS
Only the Aston Martin V8 models are using the Mercedes-AMG sourced V8
The specing with bigger turbochargers, tuning, calibration, ECU programming, exhaust system are all done by Aston Martin
That's why this V8 on an Aston Martin feels so different and more powerful than a Mercedes-AMG car
665 PS on the Vantage, 707 PS on the DBX while most of the AMG models are stuck at 585 or 612 PS since several years
I doubt that's a vanquish, if yes then it's a disappointment. I was expecting rear mounted engine as shown in Swiss motor show couple of years back
No this is much better, it would have been a shame and imo a disgrace to put the Vanquish nameplate on a rear engined V6 car.
The name has always been alternated with "DBS" as Astons flagship V12 GT and thankfully it's staying that way

Not an AMG engine. The new Vanquish will use the 5.2L V12 which is manufactured in-house by Aston. Same platform used in the now discontinued DBS but heavily reworked.
Doesn't sound all that amazing for a v12 tbh.
Most Aston prototype cars don't make much sounds
All new cars have the filters on the exhaust, it’s not AM fault
Particulate filters but the nurburgring also has its own noise regulations so hopefully final product will be louder.

the sound is being masked. I currently own a DBS with same 5.2L twin turbo V12 and its sounds insane. Especially with the optional titanium exhaust.
@@timmaher6146 But is that induction noise you're hearing from the cabin or does it actually sounds half decent from the outside? I had a V12 Vantage S with a quicksilver exhaust and that just sounded like heaven!
@@danielsimpson8385 You're comparing a naturally aspirated V12 that came out when there were no noise regulations, to a TTV12 hampered by noise regulations, of course the Vantage is going to sound amazing compared to this (although I have faith the final car will sound better than this)
