How often are you fully draining in a season (winter)? PS: THANK YOU for the videos -- they have helped tremendously as we set one of these from Costco up this year in Colorado!
It might sound gross but last year the water stayed the same all winter I didn’t dare do a dump and refill in the winter season. But at the end of the winter season you could tell it needed dumped and refilled there was just bubble beginning to build up, some sediment on the bottom (what ever came in on our feet’s). But I kept the sanitizer good and strong and kept with it…
That’s a really good question I usually shock it after use so it can have the whole night and next day. But each shock product is different so it’d be best to read the shock product you have for their directions. One of mine said swim within 15 minutes but that just seems too soon for me personally. make sure to test the water before getting in to make sure all chemicals are within safe levels also.

This year I may try to change out the water if it works out…
