Yellow gold is making a comeback because Rolex made the everrose waay too pink for men to wear. Where as PP and AP have a color of red gold that’s just right for men.

I agree. Rolex is far too pink. Just bought an AP which is more a mellow gold as it used to be in the 40s and 50s.
Interesting and informative thanks, for me skin tone plays a big part here, I have darker skin so my yellow yachtmaster II works for me although it divides people as some think its hideous and some love it...

Gold can't stand the abuse. A steel Rolex is still king.
Gold is still superior though, just take care of it.
Man I think youre right for a sports watch. Give me an all stainless Sub or Daytona. But for a dress watch or something like a DateJust or DayDate, a solid gold Rolex is just so classic in those styles.
