Comparing drinking water to tattoos is plain stupid. Tattoo toxic are not excreted through the digestive system in the way drinking water is. A German study has shown that toxic metals from tattoo inks accumulate in the lymph nodes. People with tattoos had very high levels in their lymph nodes. High levels of metals accumulating in the lymph nodes tend to show that the body is not able to deal with these toxins. That would have to be a serious warning signal that damage is being done to the body's immune system. I think that this Professor could be on the payroll of the tattoo industry.
@@redragna3648 Not the same. One gets sent though multiple filtration organs like the kidneys, liver, gall bladder etc minimizing the effect. The other is a bolus dose embedded in the skin with a slow bleed directly into the system with no filtration/chelation. Also if you regularly drink tap water you're retarded.
or it shows that in responce to a needle getting shoved into it the body activates an inflammatory response and sends out white blood cells to find out what's going on, and they just so happen to bring back some evidence of some of the stuff brought into the body, namely ink, which has the metals, and bring it back to a big bundle of white cells, a lymph node, so it's not necessarily a warning that there is serious damage being done, it's just the immune response to getting stabbed and having something deposited into your dermis. And most importantly, why would the tattoo industry suddenly become some evil conglomerate and decide that yes, the best way to spread this message of safety is to tell some random professor to do this talk, instead of maybe, just maybe, advertisement basically anywhere that makes tattoos seem safe for the public, and not only for people who look at a niche video on youtube or go to some random proffessor's lecture?
So can we urinate Tattoos too ? Or can we sweat tattoo ink ? I still don’t understand the comparison, cause one thing is used in several things your body and other just sits in Dermis..
His reasoning is absurd and flat out wrong. The body extracts material from the GI tract across the intestinal wall. Exposure to toxins via the GI tract is very different than injecting them directly into tissue. A bad analogy of the difference is pouring motor oil on your hands, versus drinking it. I'd really like to see the rest of this lecture because based on this snippet, he needs to explain the massive numbers of allergic and toxicity reactions to tattoos.

Oh well. First off, I’m not sure if somebody would use that amount of blue ink on you unless if you’re getting a smurf tattoo. Secondly, almost of half of the pigment implemented in epidermis is being disposed at the end of the first month throughout the epidermal cycle. So even if you’re getting a smurf tattoo, your body is not going to hold that amount of ink. I’m a cosmetic tattoo artist and removal technician; I know my facts and I still am not so sure how logical it is to claim tattoos are %100 healthy but honestly, it does sound a bit too biased to compare drinking water with blue tattoo ink like skin is an organ of digestive system.
There are studies showing that tattoo inks slowly break off in the form of toxic metal nanoparticles and 20 to 30% of them never leave the body and accumulate in the lymph nodes! Researchers think that tattoos are probably damaging the immune system and causing cancer, but like tobacco smoking it will take many years of tracking people to prove this. 32% of the ink pigments from a new tattoo have left the site of the tattoo 40 days after getting it.
